He takes special care to make sure his skull is cleaned and his horns polished. Pair that with being a little snippy, a little mean, he can be quite the little jerk sometime. While being the harsh one that he is, he also takes time to help those he cares about to look good and feel good about themselves, always one to offer up grooming time. While he may be harsh sometimes, he's always gentle when helping groom.
