I was told when I get older, all my fears would shrink But now I'm insecure and I care what people think - this represents Stormheart because she was told she would become fearless, but the idea of having a mate and kits brought back all her fears and now she cares about what cats tell her about it

Wish we could turn back time (time) to the good ol' days - this describes Stormheart because she wishes that she could go back to having no worries and being happy with Snowbreeze when he didn't have responsibilities as a leader

We're stressed out - this describes Stormheart because she's stressed out about having kits and keeping GullClan safe

"Have you ever felt like nobody was there?
Have you ever felt forgotten in the middle of nowhere?

Astercloud was abandoned as a kit by his mother, and for the longest time wandered around the woods, feeling useless. Her mother's last words to her were "You're so useless, no one will notice you are missing." And it stuck with her.

"Well, let that lonely feeling wash away
Maybe there’s a reason to believe you’ll be okay
‘Cause when you don’t feel strong enough to stand
You can reach, reach out your hand'

Astercloud was found half dead on the banks of the river that runs through SequoiaClan by a patrol lead by Aspentrail, and had attempted to shoo away the other cats saying she deserved to die, but Aspentrail firmly stood by him pulling her up by the scruff until she felt strong enough to stand.

"And oh, someone will coming running
And I know, they’ll take you home"

When Aspentrail pulled him up, the patrol and Astercloud headed to SequoiaClan, which, while she didn't know it, was going to be her home.

"Even when the dark comes crashing through
When you need a friend to carry you
And when you’re broken on the ground
You will be found"

Aspentrail represents the friend, and Astercloud was broken on the ground, but was found by the SequoiaClan patrol.

"So let the sun come streaming in
'Cause you’ll reach up and you’ll rise again
Lift your head and look around
You will be found"

Astercloud was in such a bad place, and SequoiaClan helped her realize she had so much to believe in. SequoiaClan not only found her, but helped him find himself.

"There’s a place where we don’t have to feel unknown
And every time that you call out
You’re a little less alone"

SequoiaClan is the place where she doesn't have to feel alone anymore, like how her mother made her feel, and every time she would talk to another cat, she would realize how surrounded by a new family he was.

"Out of the shadows
The morning is breaking
And all is new, all is new
It's filling up the empty
And suddenly I see that
All is new, all is new
You are not alone"

This represents Astercloud finally stepping fully into the sun, SequoiaClan accepting her for all he is, and helping her discover herself in unimaginable ways. She's finally happy after moons of suffering, and "all is new."

As an apprentice Tucopath participated in the nightly adventures that had been a pseudo-tradition for a few moons. How the younger cats managed to keep below the warrior’s radars was anyone’s guess but it was the uncertainty of it all that was thrilling to the apprentices. Living in a clan with so many rules, though those rules were there for a good reason given the many dangers of Aridclan territory, sneaking out at night to test her mettle felt like carving her own path to Tucopath. As the eventual appointed leader of the adventuring group it was up to Tucopath to decide whether Butterflykit would be allowed to join them. Seeing her own dissatisfaction and restlessness in him she could not deny him and the kit brought been life and daring into the group, matching her as the ‘heart’ of the group, until his death.

After Butterflykit’s untimely death due to a cause unknown beyond that it happened during one of the nightly ventures, Tucopath was shocked at the unemotional way that the clan reacted to this ‘matter of the heart’. The coarse way that the clan moved on, especially considering the leader was Butterflykit’s mother, was jarring. After assigning punishment to the apprentices at fault, bone tending duty for the next moon, no cat dwelled further on the tradgedy. Death was so commonplace in Aridclan that cats could not afford to get stuck in sorrow.

Unlike the other apprentices who simply served their punishment and got on with their lives, Tucopath was deeply changed by what happened. While she never physically left Aridclan Tucopath retreated into herself, spending more time alone and at night, isolating herself in the darkness from her clanmates. For a long while Tucopath thought her destiny lay apart from the clan, turning her back on the resources provided to help her through her grief and guilt. She talked less and less to her clanmates, prioritized caution, basically ran headfirst into the ‘night’ of her sorrow, her old confident, leader self unable to be found.

But Aridclan, and the community within the clan, was Tucopath’s ‘heart’. It was where she was born and raised; a community that she was tied to by invisible strings. It took her more than a few moons of asking herself whether or not she felt the attachment and even more moons of clanmates helping to coax her out of her shell again until Tucopath was fully a part of Aridclan again. It was when she gained an apprentice that Tucopath finally understood how community was in her, and every other Aridclanner’s, veins. They were all there to help one another and she could finally feel that.

Disaster struck with a sudden summer drought, resurfacing old doubts in Tucopath at the fragile nature of life. But at the same time this trial gave her a chance to practice her innate leadership. Tucopath proposed various plans, all mostly cautious in nature, relying upon her internal voices of tradition to guide her. But she was not the only warrior that wasn’t inspired by need. Mothdust, sister to Butterflykit, was also a ‘leading beating heart’, but with more radically new ideas that Tucopath thought unsafe and reckless. These clashes in ideals led to debates and arguments, more voices drawn from deep within the mollies.

The night that Butterflykit died changed the track of Tucopath’s life dramatically, but so did the season, which wasn’t quite a year but felt like it, of drought. Tucopath saw clanmates die at an incredible rate in both cases, including loosing her apprentice to one of Mothdust’s explorations to find alternative water sources. This broke Tucopath all over again, putting out her ‘beating heart’. She toned down from her active role in clan politics, preferring to criticize from afar and losing a potential deputyship to Mothdust, eventually Mothstar.

Tucopath has no physical gun being a cat and all but what she does have is power within Aridclan. She has no actual aim or direction for if she was in power other than to do a better job than Mothstar. Tucopath often ‘shoots her gun at the sky’ through vague critism of Mothstar’s decisions, sometimes just to see what might happen. Whether Tucopath will ever come down from her self-righteous, grieving post is any cats’ guess at this point, but the hope is that she will as she could do a lot of good with her determination.

1. "Fueled by the endless questions"
Sundrop truly doesn't enjoy her presence within Silentclan. She is unaware of her origin,
and no one has told her how she ended up in the clan. She frequently questions who her
family is, if it's someone in Silentclan, or if she was simply abandoned because her
parents did not want to care for their bundle of joy. Sundrop can often be found spacing
out, and when she is, she is usually questioning a variety of things about her history,
the details having been withheld from her by Amberstar herself.

2. "Now I don't believe men are born to be killers"
The activities that occur in Silentclan, to put it simply, disturb Sundrop. For the right
payment and justifiable reasons, they will kill another cat, despite not even knowing
said cat personally. At first, Sundrop thought all clan cats were like this, but found
out that they were not, and most are not even aware of the things that Silentclan does
undercover, behind the scenes. Sundrop believes that there are good cats within Silentclan,
and refuses to believe that all of them would willingly kill for payment.

3. "An innocent child with a thorn in his heart"
Sundrop was simply an innocent cat who was put into a bad situation. She has no clue
where she is, or who she truly is, and frequently doubts herself. The thorn in her heart
is the burden she feels as if she carries, since she has no clue of who she is, and if she
messes something up, it'll only add to the thorn piercing through her heart in a metaphorical
sense.

4. "Where love is divided by hate?"
This belief, for Sundrop, isn't just restricted to Silentclan. She is incapable of
comprehending why all the clans have to fight for land, and are separated by borders,
and foolish codes. She believes that all the cats should live in equal harmony to one
another, essentially sharing all of the land fairly, rather than fighting each other for even
the most pathetic sliver of land.

5. "Is there a cure for your sickness, have you no heart?"
Sundrop questions the morals of the cats in Silentclan, believing that most of them, especially
Amberstar, are twisted beyond belief. She is incapable of comprehending a concept where
a clan can be paid to execute a troublesome cat, yet still remain within the reach of Starclan's
blessings which are bestowed upon a variety of cats. Frequently, she finds herself questioning
if any of these cats are even sane, or if they even have hearts. She talks to all of them, and
they seem nice, but she is unsure if they really do have hearts, or the ability to love and
care for others.
