favorite festival?

The sound of fireworks booming in the distance ring in your ears, the chatter of kalons all around you. The bright lights of not only the fireworks, but also the large umbrella that's placed in the center of the city to light up the streets. The sound of children screaming in delight, and the delicious scent of fried fish wafting throughout the city.
Tasting the mouth watering sweets that vendors hand out, the sticky, gooey delicious pastries that practically melt in your mouth. The feeling of the cold, brisk air against your fur.

The Star Festival; Tasha's favorite festival that occurs every year. The festival itself is done as a thanks to nature and all it gives to Kalons, something that everyone within the city values deeply. The smell of homemade food that Kalons sell every year, especially Tasha's personal favorite, Marlin, that's caught from the sea they live by. Kits running around playing games, kebabs in hand. Everyone is having fun, young and old. As the years go on, the fesitval has only improved.

Every year, Tasha gets overwhelmed with nostalgia from the previous times she attended. Tasha loved the festival and the feelings it instilled. One day, Tasha plans to make her own booth for the Star Festival, selling hats and other clothing she sews at home.

Wherever the Star Festival is, so is Tasha's home.

his favorite festival is the mid-autumn moon festival. this festival celebrates old traditions of worshiping the moon, as well as the fall harvest. his hometown holds a big festival themselves with lots of tents selling moon cakes and other treats as well as lots of other fun items. you can find traditional food in the park square, he will often buy a whole case of mooncakes at the festival to give to his family. during the day you can find dancing, mainly kids will dance with a small band playing near the food tents. a parade will travel around the festival grounds around dusk. the parade will have lots of dancers and dragons, his favorite in the parade is the dragons and he's always wished to try doing it himself one day. once night falls everyone will release paper lanterns together. they will float into the sky like a hot air balloon and fly up towards the moon, there's so many it looks like fireflies or stars once they get far enough into the air. this goes on for three days, covering the weekend in a long party, on the final day they will set off fireworks over the local lake, he likes to use his picknick blanket and sit in the grass by the water. it's not far from his house so it's always fun to come out and watch the fireworks together.
