The moon, so close I can touch the surface. I skim my paw over the rocks, and I feel... I feel... I feel nothing, the moons surface quickly disappears from beneath me as I drift backwards. I scramble to get closer, reach out, but there is nothing to grab a hold of. And suddenly... I'm within the walls of the rocket, my mind racing.

Another dream, my fears dancing within my mind. I am going to make it to the moon! I have to! We don't know enough about the moons of Jupiter. There is only one other kalon there already, as that is the capacity of the shuttles. We wouldn't make it to the moon with more passengers, not with the amount of fuel it takes to get to Jupiter.

The moon, Ganymede, lay ahead. I could see it from the portal window of my quarters. Soon, I would touch base and meet with the other researcher there. She had been sent a year before I was set to arrive on the moon, therefore she had a year to adapt and learn about the environment. I had been sent to help her collect samples and research the surface of this moon. If we as a species wanted to survive, we would need to expand our available living space.
