griff is... a textbook tsundere trope played straight. lowkey obsessed with the idea of being cool, this rambunctious (or at least seeming) teen's desire to be an admirable older brother naively leads him to trying out plenty of things he... isn't good at. and certainly plenty of things that make him uncomfortable. right now, his current fixation is on rock and roll. yep. rock and roll. convinced that he was born in the wrong musical era, he's taken it upon himself to train his ears on the classics— guns n' roses, megadeth, def leppard, the eagles, queen, the beatles, nirvana, david bowie —alright, his taste may be a little scattered but you've got the idea.

so he likes dad rock, sure. what you don't know is how much he tries to act the part on top of everything else he does. keyword here: tries. playing it cool, acting aloof... when internally, all that's happening his him fretting over how well his image is going over. usually, it doesn't fool a lot of people, but he's under the impression that it does. poor guy.

behind the embarrassing punk act, he does have a love for music— and despite his poser appearances, he has a knack for the electric guitar. if only he wasn't so dang shy about playing in front of others, he might actually have a chance out there in the music industry... but for now, he'll only play for his little sister... whom he has a huge soft spot for. behind the facade, griff is endlessly sweet, even shy at times, and is honestly... one big soft dork who's just... a little bit embarrassing. just a little.
