What are they munching on?: Along with alfafa and hay, she loves a good mix of oats with blueberries and blackberries. She refused to approach anyone until she was offered some blueberries by a person who had nothing else horse appropriate to give to the lovely mare. She scarfed down the blueberries which have been used to bribe the mare and were also given as treats to help her to warm up to people. Without blueberries or blackberries she never would approach anyone or eat anything offered to her by people.

What are they munching on?: In addition to plenty of hay, high calorie mash, and sweet feed, we give her horse biscuits made from equal parts sweet feed, whole oats, beet pulp, apples and a tiny touch of cinnamon. They're a home made recipe and baked in the oven to make it nice and crunchy.
