why do they cry? He wished he had a meaningful reason why he cries. For family or friends, for happiness of loss- it was none of that. No, he cried just because he could. To get his way.
Vaast wasn't particularly proud of the reasons of why he cries, though at the same time he couldn't care less. He didn't enjoy feeling or looking weak, but the tears came naturally. So he used them to his advantage. He's a compulsive liar.

she is strong but it certainly doesn't seem that way, her face is always wet with tears, she used to be respected and always seem to get the best of everything, but slowly her luck started to turn, she met nasty surprises at every corner, but she faced them and she was brave, but it never seemed to stop, she handled it well and didn't slowly start to break down, she continued like this until, finally it was to much, she couldn't take it she just stopped and fell into tears, she ran as fast as she could, all of being strong for many years, this torment crushed her, and she fled he never stopped, it had been to much she was broken to much, she never stopped running or crying, she stayed in different placed for a few days then left, some tease her and others pity her, but no one treats her normally. and she runs and she cries, her luck has changed no more of her "curse" but her old self was gone, and she couldn't be repaired

why do they cry?

Zephyr had developed a bit of a reputation over the years. Fierce, and cold, he was known as a monolith, a force not to be reckoned with.

Only he knew it was lies; the strength, the bravado, all a pathetic disguise to hide the delicate, scared soul beneath. He'd been an easy target as a child. Skittish, and small, and quick to tears he'd become a constant victim of those around him.

So he'd stick to shadows, and avoid others at all cost. He'd listen to music, read, and try to forget the world. It always came creeping back, though, and finally a fateful day brought it all to a head.

Some other child, he couldn't remember who, broke the camels back, and he'd found a single solitary moment of strength and rage. He'd finally bared his fangs, and fought them off, strong enough to scare all who saw. He'd gone cold in the aftermath, shocked, and hadn't shed a tear.

Nobody had seen him cry since. He'd become a cold, untouchable thing, and it was the worst fate of all.

He was lonely, and away from the world the tears still fell as they always had before.

why do they cry? It's only natural, when something goes wrong, it's just a show of distress. It's the extreme in the softer emotions, joy and sadness. Crying lets you recollect yourself, to go to a more neutral state.
She let's herself cry. Whenever she has too many emotions, she just weeps to herself, normally alone, where her thoughts then re-calibrate. She cries because it lets her focus on reality once again. The sooner she lets herself cry, the sooner she's freed from her turmoil. Aponi can release herself, her mind is cleared.
