How she lost her eye:
♠ Eyes, the symbol of souls, secrets, lies, and connections between the hearts of people. Many cherish this part of there body as a true part to knowing who they are, and knowing who others are. From the color, to the shape, to the size, a true way to know someone is through there eyes. Emiko is no exception to the knowledge of this. After all even children know and understand that the eye is the doorway to understanding someone. So what happens when it's taken away? does that remove that gateway? These are all just beliefs from living being to another living being, so when it comes to losing an eye it shouldn't effect the entrance to someone's heart.
♠ The soul of this fox has been changed however, the loss of an eye does leave marks on the soul. Especially in the way this young adult sees things. Her life was ruined in one fowl swoop. and Emiko had no choice in the matter. If even one furtopian had just listened to her screams, listened to her cry for help, perhaps this would have never happened, perhaps she would be the smiling child she was meant to be when the young fox was brought into the world. Non the less what happened to her will never be erased despite her burring it in the depths of her heart.
♠ As a young child, she didn't have many friends, as she was unable to make them. Allways being locked up in the house she was raised in. If you could call what she had being raised. Home schooling by her mother, long efforts of chores and hard work. On her free time as a child, you would be able to find her building things in the garage despite not being allowed to be in there in the first place. Her father, a rather proud and huge male fox, was a destructive furry who was fairly cruel to those around him, and strict with Emiko and her mother. This was all a set up for disaster, and it's a story that isn't shared easily with anyone, not even her closest friends.
♠ From her point of view she would tell you "It's nothing important," or something along the lines of "I am unscathed." A habit of lying about the day she lost part of her soul, the day she gave up everything just to survive. The day could be described as long slow, and dry. A hot summer day beaming down on a driveway that was paved in a way that an egg could be fried on it. A young fox would easily be able to break a sweat when it came to working in a hot garage. Though a soft summer heat could claim good memories, the hard efforts of a young tween would not bode well with a man as harsh as nails.
♠ Emiko's heart would be torn to pieces. A solid figure of dark fur catching her in a vulnerable position. From this moment in time things would be a blur. A fight of loud proportions, and screaming that could tear the ears of any furry. A flash of fur and a chase took a foot. He had gotten a hold of one of the shop tools, a sharp star ended tool bit, of the large end in size. She wouldn't be able to run to mom this time, and the dark figure, her own father, did something that should not ever be done. She only managed to get away from this man by the luck of the tip of her tail. To this day the events are shaky to her, and even thinking about this event pulls her into a dark place. The star shaped scar a crossed her eye can only be seen clearly when she closes her eyes.
