why?: It's so cute! I love the giant bubbles and they're super fun to draw! They remind me of the ball pits I used to play in when I was younger, and there are so many fun memories I have of those! I always loved playing in them, drowning in them, burying myself inside them so my mom couldn't find me... Those were good times. I actually knew how to make friends when I was little... chuck a foam ball at them. It worked. In my opinion, the bigger the boba, the better, since the bigger the boba, the more likely your new friend is going to notice you. Any babu with big boba would be the best of friends, so befriend those big boba'd babus!!!

why?: different colored pearls add a burst of color and can convey different moods adding character. A certain color combination can also be added to fit the theme of the rest of the babu, such as of it were made to look like a bumble bee there could be yellow and black pearls making it feel more alive. One standard color of pearls or jellies can make a babu look slightly boring or simple if the design doesn't compensate so I think its a good thing that this feature is available.
