prompt - tell me something important they learned; Alone. As usual. Kodaki eats her lunch in the cafeteria at the farthest table from very other viscet, she had gone to this high school when she was year nine and now she is year eleven and still is the most picked on viscet at school, she was even bullied by those under her, she never showed her feelings though, instead, she just locked herself in her room as soon as she got home just to stay there. Her parents never really seemed to care for their daughter, they just seemed to be off in their own worlds all the time, leaving their daughter to suffer in silence. Everyday at school she would put on fake s!ile although inside she's torn apart, repeating everything the bully's say to her. Over. And over again. She thought that there was no escape for her, that was until she ran. Far. Far. Away.
Koodaki walked through the door from yet another horrible day at school, her parents didn't seem to be home, so, she walked around the kitchen for a while stumbling across a note in the process,
"Kodaki, honey, my and your father have gone out for this evening, dinner is in the fridge, love you XO",
"Ugh, whatever mother",
She muttered beneath her breath, she then hurried around the kitchen trying to find snacks a long with bottles of water, she then emptied all of her school books out of her bag then filling it up with whatever she found, Kodaki found a pen and write a note,
"I cannot take this anymore. I'm sick of fearing to leave for school everyday of my life. But you have never noticed it have you?, I am leaving to find a new home. A new life. Goodbye mother, father",
With that she hauled her backpack onto her back, opened the door, took one last look at her home before proceeding out the door.
The concrete on the sidewalk was wet with rain, causing shivers to go down Kodakis spine, with every step she was doing was getting her further and further away from home, she felt the most happy she had been in a long, long time, she felt like she was free, but, Kodaki had no idea about where she was going, but the adrenaline was pumping through her veins, her focus was at all the new sights were breathtaking, humans covered the streets filling this unknown place with life causing her to smile, but,the light of day flickerd out leaving the moon accompanied by the stars which was absolutely beautiful, Kodaki found a bus bench, got out her favorite blanket from her backpack and went to sleep.
She awoke to the sound of footsteps, there were iron prison bars in front of the bed where she lay, frantic, Kodaki sat up on the bed beginning to cry alerting one of the nearby humans who was an officer,
"I see that you are finally awake Kodaki",
Kodaki turned, tears stained her face,
"How do you know my name...",
"Your parents filed a missing persons report as soon as they found the note you left",
I paused for a moment,
"Maybe they do really care about me...",
"Of course they do, they're your parents",
"No offence officer, but you don't get it, I have been bullied relentlessly for the past two years, they haven't cared",
"Did you ever tell them?",
"No...",
"Then you can't expect them to know and try to help you Kodaki if you never told them",
"I understand officer",
"OK, they will be shortly to take you home".
