Akio is not as laid back as his father. His sly looking resting face always makes him look like he is up to something. Together the two viscets look like trouble. Like his father, Akio usually always gets what he needs done, done, instead of procrastinating and letting it sit. The two make a very good team because of this. They work efficiently and so neither of them have to yell at each other. Akio has very little confidence in himself, but his father's confidence in his son always pushes Akio to do what he personally doesn't think he can do. When Akio accomplishes something that he didn't think he could do because his father believed him him, he thanks his father million times over. Akio was raised to not tolerate arguing, and so him and his father live in peace almost always. Peacefull debates are frequent when they disagree. Neither raise their voice or get violet. Sarcasm is accepted, but neither really are, yet Akio certainly is more than his father. Akio finds their home strange, but cozy. Akio is facinated by his father's dream walking and loves learning about it and his father's trips. He wants to be able to do it himself someday, but so far has demonstrated no proper skills to do so. It does not help that he is terrible at Kintsugi. However, he doesn't let this stop him from being with his father, and will instead observe him work or hanging out with him at other times.
