Carmen is quick to set boundaries and is seen as more of a tough-love kind of figure, whom knows when to stop and when to go. She can be very judgmental to viscets she's unfamiliar with and she will almost never forget the past, which can be good or bad. Often whenever she is silent she is taking in the world around her and watching the actions of others. Carmen is known to take her work and friendships very seriously, although the opposite is for her romantic life, which she barely is active in, but she is not asexual or aromantic. She definitely doesn't take anything for granted due to her good memory; she likes to repay favors when she can but won't go out of her way to do so because she's a very busy viscet.

Chemistry
Chemistry started as just a school subject young Carmen liked above the others. She wasn't particularly fond of school, nor did she participate often, but chemistry was very fun because students got to make things explode and all that, plus she did pretty well grades-wise. It wasn't easy learning chemistry, but she enjoyed it. Except for having to use the goggles and apron, but it was dangerous to do so otherwise.

Now she's doing experiments with various chemicals and she wouldn't have it any other way. She even films the results and uploads them to the internet, which she hopes some viscets will find useful.

...However, she's not technically a scientist, more so just a viscet that likes to play with chemicals safely for the internet's entertainment, so it's more of a hobby. And hobbies don't pay the bills. Her actual job varies, as she takes whatever opportunity flies by. A maid? She's been one. A nursing home caretaker? Sure. A barista at the local cafe? Yep. But she's determined to go to college when she's ready and become an actual scientist.
