res w/ high tech world, of where they have "injections" that allow you the newest things, to change your hair however whenever, chnage your outfit be whatever, ect. but Miani is the one of the few of where her immune system blocks these injections and so miani cannot have these things. she passes by but has to get any medication a different way, has to grow out her hair for it to be longer then before, has to cut it to change it. etc ;;u;;
she couldn't imagine the days of when her world wasnt so powerful they were traveling to different planets, and over life for everyone was better.

everria. her planet.
stars, hanging low in the sky.
diana let out a sharp gasp as a sword leveled
with her throat. the sharp inhale turned into
a snarl as she swept her foot underneath the
other kal's, knocking them off their feet.
and, as a kal wins her
battles, the fiery balls of gas will
float down, settling in her fur.
she lunged forward, her shield knocking
away the blade that swung towards her,
until she'd pinned the kal, her knife
leveled towards the other female's chest.
they mark experience.
a scrapbook, of sorts.
a warm light flooded the area, as a
pinprick of fire drifted down, before
landing in diana's pelt. it seemed to
melt into her fur, leaving behind a
star-like mark.
as the kal ages,
the stars become dimmer, fading
away with the life of the kal.
diana is a princess, heir to the throne.
unofficially named the city of stars,
the planet's capital sparkles with fallen
stars that rest on its surface.
when she becomes queen, she will
lead her army into battle when
necessary.
though this planet doesn't normally
experience conflict, there has been
trouble brewing for the last century,
on their neighboring planet, less than
two light-years away. the kalons who
lives there have become restless, eager
for more land.
kals on this planet are trained from a
young age to fight. each of them are
capable of fending for themselves.
a battle will arise soon.
diana prepares valiantly for the day
when she must take over the throne and
lead her people into battle.

"w-w-welcome to the river!", a voice says as you tap your ds screen with the stylus. you grin at the pixelized icon of a dark pelted cat? you assume it is a cat. "let me-e-e show you how this land works! its a long strand of land, unfortunately it's split up into little pieces. little islands everywhere, if you're lucky you'll find a bigger floating land mass." it's says again. "aye I forgot to ask what's your name?", you say your name out loud and get ready to type it in. before you can type it in, the small pixel icon character does it for you. you gasp and drop the device.

lyra's world: full of pranks

lyra-
it was the night before lyra's last day of senior high. she needed one more thing before she was ready. she ran up the stairs to grab her list. blah blah blah... ahah! ok, so where would i find this? she took a minute to think. the attic! lyra pulled on the string in the hallway that lowered the stairs leading up to the dark room. found it! she exclaimed. found what? her mother said as she walked by with the laundry basket in her paws. oh nothing. just something bandit* asked me to look for. her mother wasn't so sure. in the attic? lyra came galloping down the stairs. yep. i'm going over to his house, is that ok? her mom sighed, ok. but be home by 11! lyra ran up to her room, grabbed her backpack, and went to the back to get her bike. she brought it around front and hopped on. she rode for about a good 35 minutes.

bandit-
bandit! lyra came over to see you! she's coming up! bandit's father shouted. ok! he choked a little, as he shouted back. he was so excited. lyra busted through the door and heaved her back pack onto his desk. do you have the plan? she asked. why wouldn't i? she read it over once, twice, three times. lyra pulled out the toy noise maker. she pressed the fart button. ew. but it's perfect for tomorrow.. bandit and lyra tried to sneak downstairs, but his father caught them. where are you two going off to? they looked at each other and lyra spoke finally spoke up. to get some ice cream from the super market. bandit's dad seemed unsure. ok, have fun. bring some back for me. when they got outside bandit asked how are we going to get ice cream when we're going to school? he got worried. we'll just pick some up on the way back. bandit raised his shoulders but to lyra, he said ok! great plan!. and so, they headed to school. they scurried into the main office and changed all the wiring. they hooked up the noise toy to the loud speaker. done. they both sighed.

it turned out to be a dark and misty the next morning. not what lyra thought her last day of high school would be like, but oh well. clouds gathered in the sky as she walked through the woods. her mother offered her an umbrella to take but lyra insisted she not. it started to drizzle. darn it. should'a taken that umbrella. she arrived at school. she took a big gulp. she was very anxious. and lyra walked into school like anyone would do on any regular day. she met with bandit in homeroom. you excited? it's about to go off any momen- pffffffft. everyone in the classroom went silent and they all looked at each other while bandit and lyra couldn't help but laugh. they just couldn't contain themselves. and then one of them made a small giggle. the whole class turned around. their teacher asked, do you two know what happened? they looked at each other. why would we know what that was? and for the rest of the day, whenever the bell rang, it would make a fart noise. best day of high school ever! lyra noted.

*bandit - one of my kalon, lyra's friend in this story.
