I had been stuck in the freezing, relentless ocean, trapped beneath a thick layer of ice. My fingers were bloody and bruised from scratching hopelessly at the fortress of ice that entrapped me. The nauseating panic that filled my body as I realised that there was no escape, as I succumbed to the deathly currents of the frozen, uncaring ocean.
