Amara values two things above all else: her life and her freedom. Money comes second and she will rarely turn down an opportunity to make money, unless it causes unnecessary harm to herself or others. Even though she values money, she doesn't always need to have it and will be just as happy carelessly gambling it away. In fact, her favorite pastime seems to be gambling, likely due to her strong conviction that the world runs on luck and chance rather than destiny.

Another favored pastime of Amara's is conning people, just for the heck of it. She doesn't do serious damage when conning, but she may steal a significant amount of someone's wealth if she believes it won't harm their well-being. Amara is willing to make deals of all types with people of all sort, regardless of personality or the reasons behind their offers, as long as she thinks that she will come out on top. Being the emotional sort, she is prone to lash out if something doesn't go her way, especially deals.

Amara sees no point in any sort of self-control and most of her actions are selfish and impulsive. Nearly everything she does is to please herself, even just to satisfy a whim. While she helps others on occasion, it's never a selfless act of kindness. Instead, Amara tends to help others she thinks can be beneficial to her. Sometimes she will help someone just because she's gotten the urge to. Selfish as she is, she is completely unwilling to follow someone, even if it helps her, but she is willing to lead others if needed.

She is the happy, charming sort that tends to be well-liked. Amara is very much a smooth-talker, able to talk her way out of anything. However, despite her good reputation, Amara is very secretive and independent, with few close friends. She's a compulsive liar and only tells the truth when it's unavoidable, even lying to friends and family. She does attempt to stay loyal to those she cares about, but still finds herself unwilling to sacrifice her own well-being or freedom, no matter the cost to others. However, she only betrays others if her situation is grave.

She would never harm an innocent or cause serious injury to others for a profit, only in the most dire situations. With that being said, she is completely against causing any sort of harm to a child and may even go out of her way to help them, as she has quite the soft spot for children. Amara has little to no patience, especially for anyone or anything that is exceedingly lawful and just, as she finds them to be both an annoyance and hindrance; she will have absolutely no qualms about selling them out or harming them if needed. Laws are more of a suggestion in Amara's eyes. Any organization trying to enforce them is sure to encounter her resistance. She also finds lawful sorts to be rigid, opposing her flexible and open-minded personality.

Although intimidating in size, and usually bearing a nonchalant or unimpressed expression, Briar is quite the nature lover and a gentle giant. On quiet days, they can be found in the nearest meadow or forest clearing surrounded by birds and other smaller creatures. Outside with nature, no matter the weather, seems to be their happy place, and they can become quite gloomy and sluggish in closed off sheltered locations like villages and towns. Other than basking in nature ambiance, Briar thoroughly enjoys treasure hunting, and is known to take objects (organic or not) and sort them according to color in little hidey holes and tucked away cubbies. Of course, there's always the possibility that an object they "found" may belong to someone else. But if the object was left sitting out, it's up for the taking. At least in their mind.
