if you were to ask vitiligo why he was who he was, he'd respond with his childhood home. it was a small white house with small windows, and one hedge.. a hedge with his destination on the other side. it was the church parking lot. his greatest feats were accomplished there, and only there- like when he played his guitar for his school fundraiser and everyone gathered around to sing along to the popular songs. or when he confessed his love to his now boyfriend. not only that, but he also broke his leg once, jumping off the hill to the back of the church like the thoughtless and confident guy he is.

as mentioned before, viti is the most daring kal around, and one day they all discovered the sandpit. the sandpit is a ravine made entirely of sand. an abandoned creature's den sits off to the side, a corn field and farm beyond it. on the left side, there's a pond, and although the pond is a lake, it's still called the pond. only a thin copse of trees stood in their way of the pond and the sandpit, which has a 40 foot drop down [remember this]. despite all this, though, it is his home and nothing can change that.

of course, though, they had their downfalls. for an entire half of a year, some company decided to overthrow the owner and build a trailer park on the sandpit, bulldozing the church in the process, leaving only the parking lot to mess around in. it was like being thrown in a pen as a child while your parents completely wrecked your home. that's when vitiligo and his friends had enough.

AUGUST 13TH, 2014
"okay guys!!" the bright kalon yelled from the back of their tent. in the corner, vitiligo's friends (who were more like brothers), percy and bing, were writing ideas down for the raid. again, sirkus piped up. "guyysss, whatawe have done?"

"well, the basic planning is finished. do you have everyone?" bing responded, dropping the pen on his paper with a satisfying sigh.

sirkus nodded frantically. "of course!! aki and his crew are coming too. we need a few pirates for this."

"they aren't pirates, dorkus." percy added on, grinning at his infamous nickname for the clown. "they're just seafaring kits and one's a stowaway, i believe." and with a smirk, he shoved his face back in the book.

they of course started a riot and threw a rock at one of the builder's machines
the owner came by and chased off the building crew, giving vitiligo and his friends the sandpit
this is all basically a true story tbh

chill spot :: Maya's favorite spot is the siren lake south of the town and east of the salt water cavern she makes her home in. It may seem weird to like hanging out with kal eating monsters that can lure you closer with their singing but Maya loves sitting on the rocks with them. Swimming in the lake can be a bit awkward... but that's why she tries to stick to the rocks. The rocks are close enough to the shore she can jump from them to it so this works for her. You might be thinking "why don't they lure her with their voices?" well it is a long story but the short version is she managed to block out their songs and stood defended their lake from the town winning their respect.
