Username: Lioth
Name: Xylo
Gender: Demiboy
Why are they so restless?:
One could say that it all started just by the fact that he never really gets sleep. Like most people his age he tends to stay up quite late (not usually past midnight though, due to some bad relationship experiences) and get those wonderful, strikingly beautiful dark circles under his eyes. He usually got between four and six hours of sleep, but then Christmas rolled around.
Christmas at his house was a different one, his adoptive brother was to have a kid and his parents were no where to be found. His aunt coordinated the whole event, and while there wasn't much present passing they did eat quite a substantial amount of pancakes. Then, Xylo's brother decided to drop the bomb on him that he would be taking Xylo back with him to his apartment for a few days following that Christmas.
Great idea, right?
It was.. at first. Christmas night they stayed up on the couch, screwing around on his brother's PS4 and watching Netflix. His brother's best friend and neighbor, Joe, brought over cookies and cherry sours and played a few games with them as well. They both went to bed at about ten, as they did need to get up the next morning to retrieve his brother's car.
Now, this all seems pretty boring, but I'm getting to the good part.
The second night at his brother's apartment, he hadn't taken a shower and his hair was starting to get a little messy. Since it was unlikely that Xylo would be returning (his aunt didn't like his brother), they decided to stay up late. Really late.
Xylo and his brother busted out his unopened copy of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X and got to work. By midnight they had cleared 3 of the Clouds and completely run through their supply of fruit drinks and candy. Before continuing their conquest, they took a short trip to the gas station one block down the street to refill. A purchase of one Brisk, two Fuzes, a package of Skittles and one of Reese's later they trudged back to the apartment to continue.
By 2:30 in the morning they only had one cloud left. However, Xylo was nearly passing out at the controller, and his brother was laughing nonstop from sleep deprivation. They both made an executive decision to go to bed, and shut the electronics off. As they were getting ready, Xylo tripped over his brother's hamster's ball, falling flat on his face. His brother laughed louder and louder, making the neighbors slam their fists on the wall and shout at them.
Both boys eventually did make it to bed, but it wasn't until after half an hour of laughing over Xylo's clumsiness.
