Why do they "gloat"?: Because he wins everything it's just in his blood he was built for racing and he knows he was, so he just gloats about it. But he doesn't take it to far I mean yes he is beautiful (and he knows that to) but he respects everyone even though he loves showing off how good he is. Steele is has a good husky he doesn't gloat all time because he doesn't want anyone to hate him he just loves his attention. so he looks out for the best in himself and others. Most normal people (people who don't watch racing) love Steele because of his fluffy fur and gorgeous eyes, but the people who watch dog sled racing love him because he is fast, agile, strong, and he wins all of his races (with the help of his team of course). Steele is a lead dog so he also gloats about that.

Why do they "gloat"?:
In his sled team Douggie was the leader. Assuming a role of leadership meant he had to show his team that he meant business and that he knew what he was doing. He's not gloating per se, more like showing that he's confident in himself. Once Douggie had the sled dog mindset embedded in his brain it was hard to shake once he was taken off the team. He may seem a bit too prideful and even bossy at times, but in the end he means well. It may take a bit of time to adjust to his new racing-free lifestyle, but eventually Douggie will learn to relax a little around other dogs instead of self-assigning himself as the trusted leader.

Although there were many good forms (and many WIPs), i felt that the form below was the one I liked the most. I found it funny that some of you put something along the lines of "Steele" for the name because he was based on that character from Balto. So cutos to all of you who did that.

Why do they "gloat"?:
What is there not to gloat about? Look at that fur? Looks at those eyes? Look at those strong leg muscles who wouldn't want to swoon over those bad boys? Not to mention his perfect linage of sled dogs whom won metals and the fact that he has yet lost ONE race! He can't help but throw himself around and gloat about it! He wants everyone to love him! I mean look how fluffy his tail is?! Who wouldn't want that?

Now even though he gloats and gets jealous at times of others he is a good dog. He actually is a little lonely since he was trained all alone up in the mountains for some time and doesn't know how to communicate with others so he believes that if he gloats about himself maybe people would be interested in him. Yeah he races with other dogs but he is always placed in new sled teams because his previous owner liked to use him for money and people would pay for a top sled dog like that one their team for a race so he never had a best friend before. This is why he gloats, for attention from others.

Aside from that, congrats Angel-Chan!
