What made the moon bleed eerily
Little did they know she was watching them
From afar to prevent eternal mayhem

She manipulated the colour of the moon
So they would stay immune
To colour-blind monsters who visit the pier
Once every blood moon in the year

This is the hardest competition I have judged. There were so many amazing forms, but I just kept coming back to this one. That lovely dog, and such a unique poem! I will do the halter ASAP.
