and expects them to do the same.
She is easily broken on the inside despite her strong
outward appearance; and

but can be incredibly indecisive and is afraid of

ponder on a decision and has trouble
making choices of her own.

Cadenza was born on a Khimaira Friesian breeder farm. Her owner, the rancher, had never seen such a vibrant Khimaira - she
was pink and purple! Most of his other Khimairas were more solid colors, but nothing like this. He had several experts come in and try to determine the filly's color. Meanwhile, her parents, the rancher's prized showhorses, raised her to follow in their hoofprints. Her mother especially, had not reared such a vibrant foal, and was determined to allow her daughter's coloring be a good factor in her life when it came to showing. Many of the other foals picked on her out of jealousy - they were simple bays and blacks; but then there was Cadenza, a bright pink.
"Look at her spots! They aren't even circular!"
"Her coat looks like my mother's saddle pad!" Cadenza spent most of her life dealing with these snide comments from her pasturemates. Her mother didn't bother to make the foals back off; her only interest was making her daughter become a good showhorse.
"And you've got to raise your head high, darling! There! Step
high, step proud!" Cadenza learned to walk with extra gaits and more pride, from her dam's teachings. Each day when she was let out to pasture, she dealt with the comments from the foals.. but not this time.
"Those ugly spots!" One of the foals sneered.
"I think they're beautiful! They're as bright as the night's glowing stars."
A new voice, one which wasn't heard often, caused the younglings' ears to prick.
"Lookie here, if it ain't the "stallion"!" A yearling shouldered his way through the foals, though he was only a hand or two taller than them. He squared up to the stallion, who dropped his magnificent head.
"You should stop picking on others! It's rude!" The stallion said, glaring at the foals who dropped their head. The bolder yearling however, did not. Boldly he lifted his head.
"And why do you say that? Afraid you'll be picked on because you can't sire foals?" He sneered, daring the infertile stallion to challenge him. Niko, the stallion, remained calm, though Cadenza could see pain flare in his eyes for a single heartbeat.
"You should be ashamed of yourself! What would your mother think if I told her that you were over here, picking on young foals? Not a good example to set for your younger brother, is it?" The usually calm stallion's temper flared.
The yearling reared back, surprised at Niko's outburst.
"F-fine.. I'll leave... this isn't the last of me!" The yearling turned tail and ran, wailing, to his mother, who waved him
away while she nursed his younger brother.
"I know it's hard to be different." Niko said gently to Cadenza, who trotted after him curiously.
"I've always been unable to sire foals. I've been picked on
because I was different from the rest. I may never be
a father, but that doesn't mean I can't be your friend." He said simply, and walked away, leaving the little filly staring after him. With a flick of her ears, she leapt after him.
From that day forward, the two outcasts remained best friends. They bonded over their differences and learned to deal
with those who were the same.

Personality:
Elsker is an extremely flirtatious mare, she will flirt with any stallion she sees. Sadly she isnt very good at it and often comes off as being quite rude so she struggles to find stallions that like her. She is a very kind hearted mare that doesnt wish harm upon anyone even if they do something terrible to her. She believes that anyone who is unkind has a reason to be so. She aims to help other although it doesnt often work. She is always seeking new friends because only having 1 makes her feel too reliant on that friend and she doesnt want to lose them.

Best Friend:
Elsker's best friend is Cupid these two get along like 2 peas in a pod. They are inseparable and do everything together. When one is having a 'down day' the other works hard to bring them back up

History:
Elsker was hand raised after her mother accidentaly stood on her at birth, her survival was uncertain so her human took her in to make her comfortable and desperately tried to help her survive. It took a 4 weeks of being fed every 3 hours but Elsker pulled through. The human continued to hand raise her until she was 6 months old. When she reached 6 months the human slowly started to mix her back in with the herd, at first it was a complete disaster, Elsker was unable to cope and the others would charge towards her. The human continued to try mix her in with the herd but in the mean time she was kept in a separate field because she was too big for the house. 3 weeks later she was left for a full day in the herd she was picked on A LOT but one of the stallions , cupid, saw her and came over to help her. Elsker was frightened of him at first but they ended up getting along quite well.

When she was 4 her human put her up for sale. Elsker and Cupid were to be separated. But the human saw how much of a good bond they had with eachother and decided to search for someone willing to buy them both together. Eventually someone came and bought them but once at the new persons farm they were separated into different fields. Cupid told Elsker that he will find away to get them put together.

He was right 2 weeks of escaping, kicking and bucking the new owner got fed up and put them together in a field in the far corner of the farm with a herd of stallions where they still live until this day
