greatest desire; Lupus' greatest desire... is to be taken seriously and be able to follow his interests. Nobody really seems to understand him and his love for rocks and world history. He feels like his name doesn't represent him at all, and when people call him "Star Boy" and other such jabs, it's another reminder that his name often overrides what he wants to do. He doesn't like space. He likes the dirt, the rocks, the plants, the trees- everything that gravity has rooted to the ground. He doesn't want to go far out, he wants to dig deeper. He wants to be the very first to get the exact temperature of the Earth's inner core, he wants to be a paleontologist, and most importantly to him, he wants to collect aquamarine. It might seem like an odd thing to desire, but his mother died when he was young and the only thing he remembers about her is her love for the precious rock. He has many reasons, and he just wants to find a time when people will just smile and nod when he tells them his desires instead of saying,

overall personality; Lupus is witty and sharp-tongued around his friends, but alone or with people he doesn't know, he withdraws into himself, pulls out a piece of worn aquamarine, and uses it as a worry stone to help manage his fidgeting and anxiety. Lupus was bullied some as a child, and it was made worse by the fact that he kept a diary- and still does. He loves to make dinosaur jokes and he doesn't know or care about any space jokes. Lupus gets stressed easily under pressure, and even some of the smallest deadlines can leave him double-checking his scores each night. He loves to take walks and hikes with his friends, and he always picks up a few rocks for his ever-growing collection. He drinks lemon tea before bed each night and, while being a bit of an insomniac, does manage to get some rest before morning comes. He is kind and loyal and he really wants to make people happy.
