Ideas grow on trees- sure it's a little silly, but Emery honestly believed this as a kid. Whenever she needed ideas for a project, or was stuck in a situation and didn't know what to do, she'd climb a tree and start picking leaves as a way to brainstorm. To this day being outside around trees helps her think.

Personality


Emery is a bit of an oddball. She tends to butt in on other people's business, which is pretty annoying to those around her. However, she has a knack for approaching problems from different points of view, and her unsolicited advice is often helpful once other gators get over her nosiness. She's a little gullible, so she tends to get led off track by random fads (especially those "as seen on TV" miracle products- you know the ones) and she takes in anything anyone tells her, true or not. She's not necessarily unintelligent, just easily swept up by a new piece of information. It's not uncommon to find her gossiping about a rumor she heard, whether or not it's true.

Being so interested in what's going on around her, Emery is pretty social and is almost always hanging around public places and talking to various people she meets. One of her favorite places to go is the local park, since she loves being outside and there are a lot of different people who hang around the park. Although she meets a lot of different faces, she's pretty good at remembering them. It's the names she has trouble with, she constantly mixes up names of GGs she knows.

One might think her apparent interest in the lives of others would make her more caring. This is true to a certain extent, in that she'll listen and help people talk out their troubles, but there are few GGs she offers comfort over logical solutions. The two gators Emery is closest to are her younger sibling Kaveri, and her cousin Tyro. Along with lending them an ear, the two get the privilege of her warm hugs.

Kaveri - adoptive sibling
Emery, being the older sister, has had her fair share of having to watch over Kaveri. When they were younger she'd have to keep them out of trouble, as well as keep their overconfidence in check. Emery was an only child before Kaveri was brought into the family, and she's glad to have found them. Emery and Kaveri are as close as siblings can be- they have their sibling rivalries at times, but that doesn't get in the way of really caring about each other. The two of them are both pretty talkative, and often go out together to meet new gators and just have fun chatting.




Tyro - cousin
Tyro may as well be Emery and Kaveri's brother, they spent so much time together growing up. Tyro's the oldest of the trio (him, Emery, and Kaveri), as well as the quietest. He would normally be the appointed babysitter when they had to be left alone, being the more responsible of the bunch. He's just as friendly as his cousins, thought not quite as talkative. He prefers listening to them talk than joining in much himself. Tyro owns a bar that he gave Kaveri a job at, and it's one of the places Emery frequents. She helps him out when he runs into problems, but generally she stops by to say hi and chat with the guests.
