A fitting companion with all things considered. Named after a mythical beast and a vicious creature, this particular griffon vulture has taken a liking to perching near Grim whenever the thestral goes out to graze. Grim has decided to call him Specter as the bird's feathers has much more white compared to regular ruppell's vultures. Specter has quite the ghostly appearance as a result and the two look quite menacing when the bird is perched on his back. On some occasions, when Specter spreads his wings on Grim's back, it seems like the speckled wings sprung out of the thestral's own back.

Note: If you like the vulture idea, I honestly don't expect you to add it to the ref since it might be a bit too much to ask and hard to fit on the canvas.
