Name's Maya, but I go by a range of other names. So call me
what you like! I am utterly obsessed with Dragon Age with my main
romances being Alistair, Anders, and Cullen. I am also very
interested in horses and go riding every week for lessons.
I care for and show rabbits in 4H. My lil' bun is a Jersey Wooly
buck named Alistair after the one and only Ferelden king.
Drawing and reading are some of my favorite past times
along with roleplaying. I roleplay on both Feral Front and
Tumblr. Don't be afraid to start a conversation with me!
I don't bite and I'm always accepting of a new friend~
It had been a while since I had arrived and they were finally placing me within the main fields instead of in the smaller one I had been staying in. I was excited to have so much free reign, though not so much about the field I was being put in. That darn Leo acting all high and mighty. How dare they make me share a field with him, I would much rather of been placed in the middle field with the sweet and gorgeous mares, but instead I have to put up with a controlling stallion and some nut jobs. I sighed as I watched the owner walking towards the gate with a halter in hand, white with red adornments, a white lead shank hanging from the lovely halter that was reserved for myself. The gate swung open and I waited as he placed the halter over my head and walked towards the gate with myself at his heals. The grass was shorter on this side of the fence, and it soon changed to gravel as we walked around the barn and over to the gate of the upper field. The other horse had already lifted their heads, looking at the gate as it opened and the owner led me in. The gate was closed behind him and he slipped the halter off, letting me go in the wide open field. I snorted at the man and took off into the trees at a trot, getting away from that stallion, Leo, before he could act all high and mighty. I would never let that stallion control me or be my leader, he would not receive respect from me unless he earns it.
I slowed as I reached the fence bordering the field, having not realized how far I had gone until the obstacle stopped me in my tracks. I stood, looking over the fence into the forest, enjoying the sound of the rustling leaves and the whistling wind. No other pests there to bug me, I could enjoy the quiet and calm down. I took a few deep breathes as I stood there, allowing the sounds of nature to calm me. It had been a while since I had such peace being so close to the stable and road. I heard every passing vehicles, all the children, borders and riders that came and left, and all the others horses brought in and out from the fields. I was getting antsy with all the sounds, it was too much and so annoying, all of them being little bugs buzzing in my ears. I sighed as I enjoyed the silence all the more after those thoughts, but the sounds of someone coming, disturbing my quiet made me turn with a look of annoyance in the direction of the sound.
She had stopped head in her tracks, her eyes looking nervous and angry as she watched me standing there, studying me almost. Her dark colors and dark blue eyes made me study her, her stance made me wonder about her. She did not seem like some of the others I had met already, actually, I had never seen this mare before and yet she was in the field. Where did she come from? And who was she? "If Leo sent you, you can tell him to mind his own business." I broke the silence, assuming she was one of his followers. "Ha! As if I would ever let that stallion control me." she snorted, her head lowering and her ears being pinned to the back of her head. She turned in order to leave, not wanting to have anything to do with me clearly. "Who are you?" I spoke up, my voice probably sounding more demanding then I had wished it to be. Her huff was her sign to me that I did not need to know, but I wanted to know. I watched as she vanished into the trees, going to find another quiet place without the rest of the herd like I myself had done. I itched to follow, but my legs chose to turn to stone at that moment, keeping me grounding under the trees next to the fence until she was out of sight, though she was definitely not out of my mind. I was curious about the mare, and I grinned to myself. Another of my nature to fight against that Leo. Glad I wasn't the only one who hated the proud stallion.
Dark arrived and I returned to the large shelter that the herd used. I sighed as I entered, not bothering to look at the proud stallion I had grown to detest, but I looked for the mare I had seen earlier. I scanned the herd of horses from both the upper and middle fields, a fence and wall separating the two herds and making it obvious which ones belonged where. I did not spot her, she was no where to be found among the herds within the shelter. "Looking for someone?" I turned my head around to see the silver brown stallion, a mischievous glint in his lavender eyes. I squinted, looking him over cautiously. "The only one who is never here at night is Shahab Jamal, she is probably in the forest somewhere." he added. Shahab Jamal, that must be the name of the mare I met. The name did seem to suite the mare I had seen.
I trotted out into the night and into the forest where I had met her before, the slight bit of moonlight that made it through the canopy lighting my way. I saw the fence, and a silhouette standing next to it, looking over it and into the forest beyond. "You never told me your name." I spoke up, startling the mare. Her ears went back and she spun her head, her body followed, standing defensively as she studied me. She did not move to make a reply, instead she seemed to have a look in her eyes telling me to stay away. "I just want to know your name." I sighed, shaking my head. "Can you not take a hint?" she huffed, taking a step back. "I know you don't seem to like anyone, but I think we are birds of a feather." I replied, lifting my head to look into her deep blue eyes. "What in hell is that supposed to mean?!" she seemed even more nervous, her hooves shuffling in the dirt as she tried not to bolt or show too much fear in front of the strange stallion. "It means we are more alike then you think." I replied.
It became quiet as we seemed to have a stare down, her deep blue eyes watching me as if to try and burn a hole into my skin. "Shahab Jamal." she spoke, surprising me, but then I grinned. "Lovely name, though not the easiest to remember." I replied. "Fine then, my barn name is Jewel." I nodded. "That name is very suiting for you, since your eyes look like sapphires after all." I had caught her off guard, surprising her out of her defensive stance. She seemed as if she was about to say something, but she soon bolted into the night, running towards the cliff. I followed, our hooves pounding into the cold earth, breaking the silence of the night and adding a tension to the crisp air. I picked up the pace, pulling ahead of her and cutting her off, watching as she came to a sliding stop.
"I just wanted to..." I saw her rear all too late, her hood met my nose, surprising me, making me jump back as she settled back to the ground, looking surprised. I felt the warm liquid run down my nose and off the side of my face. I was too stunned to finish what I was saying, I had never been hit before by a mare, fights with stallions was one thing, but for a mare to have the courage to hit me, it surprised me. She seemed stunned herself as she stood, watching me with fear in her eyes. "My, my, I didn't think you had the guts." I grinned, making her lift her head questioningly. "I will not give up though, I will get to know you, I will find out more about you, and this scar shall be proof of my resolve." I had stepped closer, my eyes flickering like flames in the moonlight while her deep blue eyes shimmered like sapphires. I walked past her and headed back towards the shelter on the other end of the field. "Oh, and just a warning, be careful where you run." I do not know if she realized how close we had come to the cliff, but I did not look back to see. I walked through the cold night, my thoughts drifted as I felt the warm blood cling to the hair of my face. I knew I would have a scar, but I did not care. This is my battle scar and she will be my prize, I will win her over, I will gain her trust.

Story:
Gabriel was once a sacred Khimaira, his owner was an angel from heaven named Jibril (which also means Gabriel). Jibril and Gabriel were considered a whole, both white and stunning with a glow of holy-ness, they were the proud messengers of God. Since Jibril was a messanger of God so was Gabriel. He was more of the Earth eyes so you would say. Gabriel was very important due to the fact he is one of the seven archangels and he delivers the utter most important prophetic messages to Gods faithful servants. One day Jibril received a very important message revolving an upcoming battle and a older couple that was supposed to inflict good will against the world. Jibril then gave the message to Gabriel to ride it into a small town and give it to a very important person. Jibril explained, " Gabriel this prophet will show you the way and the light will guide you, I trust you to get it there safely". Gabriel always understood that what he did was very important and that it drastically affected others. He then galloped into the light.
Gabriel was uncertain about this message, it did not feel right. Jibril always gave Gabriel Gods will within a solid crystal like pearl. White, but clear, calming and almost had a slight glow. But this one, this one didn't feel like the usual warm presence of Jibril. He felt sin, deceiving, and darkness. As the light that guided his path grew stronger Gabriel began to slow. He did not want to deliver this prophet. Instead he flung off the prophet and smashed the ball into a million dust particles with his mighty hoof. He felt that this was right and that he had not done anything wrong so he rode back to Jibril to tell him that he had delivered the prophet. Although he really did not. Unfortunately what Gabriel did not know was he just sinned, lying.
The next day Jibril was banished from heaven and God sent him crashing down through the clouds. The smell of burning flesh and ash filled the air. Gabriel raced to Jibril worried that his partner, his brother, was hurt. Jibril instead of being solemn was furious, "Why didn't you give the prophecy to the parents of the future messiah! It was supposed to bring peace and end a world of sin. I have been banished because of you!! You lied to me! How could you?!" he pauses ad paces back and forth, "You being my problem I no longer consider you my brother!" with that Jibril swung his mighty sword across Gabriel's face. " You too are now fallen, and you will now feel the weight of your sin, be gone with you!" Jibril spits. The blood seeped from the blow of the sword and darkness swept over his body covering his charming white coat with his sin and leaving little grey to show he was still good inside. Gabriel was now black and grey and the little light within him somewhat dimmed.
Jibril then left Gabriel for he was to mad to accept his one failure. Gabriel was not sad, he was not mad at himself nor Jibril, he knew now what he did was not of Gods will but he believed it was right and found a bit of comfort in himself. He then decided to roam the Earth and scrutinize how people sin and how they too accept themselves afterword. Gabriel in time finds peace with his new partner, a sister if you will, and he too will eventually accept himself. His scar will always be a reminder that a sin is a sin but its what you do after the sin is what matters. Light will find a way if that is what you truly want; All demons are fallen angels but not all fallen angels are demons.
