Why are they grumpy?: Tlilpotonqui always feels a huge mood shift when Halloween comes around, becoming grumpy and not wanting to deal with anyone. He always makes sure to turn off all the lights in his house and not answer the door for anyone, but things have been known to happen much to his dismay. Tlilpotonqui is often the victim of pranks, wether it's just a game of Ding-dong ditch played by annoying kids or immature teenagers, or having eggs thrown at his house (This offends him because of the things related to birds and eggs.).

He wasn't always like this though, he wasn't allowed to go out on Halloween when he was younger due to the general stigma of vultures and other birds known to eat dead stuff and be the familar or form of witches. He was always kept inside, and any attempts of sneaking out often ended up with him being mocked and scared of, combined with the constant screaming of little kids that started to irritate him as Tlilpotonqui got older.

Lately, he has been leaving out a big bowl of candy for people to take in hopes it'll avoid his door being knocked on, disturbing him. Tlilpotonqui wants nothing but to be left alone to lay under his blankets in total silence. Summary of his grumpiness (most from hatchlinghood) is loud screaming overjoyed kids, not being able to celebrate it, being mocked/teased and pranks.

Why are they grumpy?: Every year SOMEONE tries to scare the cats out of him and it always works. It annoys him so much but every single year, it happens over and over. He eventually just decided to stay inside and not answer to any trick-or-treaters, but someone STILL scared him.

Why are they grumpy?: He went to the shops to buy candy for the kids around his neighbourhood that go trick-or-treating, but everything had been sold out, aside from the really cheap, disgusting lollies that nobody likes. Not wanting to torture the kids like that, he bought nothing. It was the only day he had off work until the middle of November, so Nyght felt disappointed in himself.

Winner is Bentley with Tynan! A lot of the forms had a very similar reasoning, so it really came down to how well explained things were. Tynan was a cool name for him and the explanation allowed a good look into his personality. ( you didn't fill out gender so I assume the birdo goes by male ;p )

Why are they grumpy?: Tynan doesn't care for Hallowe'en because it feels like the stereotypes around his species make like four times more irritating than usual. It isn't uncommon for him to get shifty looks or jokes about him "looking for dead things" while out on the town or simply going to and from work on a normal day as it is - near Hallowe'en, though, it's like every kid (or kitten or cub or what-have-you) wants to either scream and run away or pester him about anything and everything even remotely spooky or related to the dead, and that's not to mention all of the brazen-hearted teenagers who, desperate to prove themselves in the arbitrary teenage hierarchy, try to prank him. He'd really just rather take a month-long vacation from work, stay in his little isolated home, and be done with everyone until Thanksgiving!
