Res with being a very shy kiddo, saved up his allowence for WEEKS to buy that AWESOME scarf, it's a great confidence booster for him he loves it. Plus it makes a very convinient hiding place when he's feeling overwhelmed. At this point it is a bit old and worn from years of use.

Calavera had always wanted a special accessory to really make them stand out in a crowd. They never quite had any close relationships and were therefore very self-sufficient. They decided to make a scarf for themself.

There wasn’t much time to devote to the project because Calavera was usually busy. It took several months just to gather materials that were adequate colours. They spent half an hour or so every day for three weeks crocheting it together.

So much time and love was put into this accessory, by the time it was finished, Calavera made it their goal to wear it everyday as to be sure it didn’t go to waste. The scarf became tattered quickly, but they believe it just adds to it’s character.

Story behind the scarf;; alari had always been expected to be a great person from all her family to become rich and successful. all the weight of being pressured to become successful in life made alari stressed she was secretly a dc comics fan, even more a batman fan. he family thought comics were a waste of time and stupid so alari was always scared to have her parents find out. one day her parents were nagging at her about how she needed to learn algebra and and geometry and she finally burst out and told her parents everything. her parents just stared at her silent, embarrassed at what she said she ran to her room and didnt come out till the next day. as she walked down the stairs for breakfast there was a box and a note waiting for her.she read the note dear alari,
we couldnt be there to give this to you but we are always there for you <3 mom and dad
confused she opened the box and inside sat a batman scarf. to this day she still wears it for good luck and now draws comics of her own for a living

the scarf --

artemis was born into a tightly knitted family. she was the only child from two dads, and a large blanket with bright stars was given to her before her eyes were even open.


this blanket, though much too big, was brought everywhere. she called it 'kiki.'


sometimes she even wore it as a cape, with a matching witch hat, just like her daddies!
they make glowing, bubbly potions and cast charms that (usually) help others out.

over the years, it got rather worn.



though the entire blanket could not be salvaged, her fathers managed to patch it up. she now wears it as a scarf so that it never gets as torn as it had been.



her rat, barnaby, often snuggles up inside of her blanket scarf. he was artemis' 14th birthday present.
(yes, he's ten years old! artemis' dad helped out with that. just.. a bit.)

artemis brews medicines, prepares herbs, and makes vitamin-rich food to sell to kalons at her fathers' store. she also works as the cashier there, and loves to educate customers about how to care for themselves. she usually ends up rambling about rats, though.. but she's working on it.

eventually, artemis wants to switch from people-medicine to animal-medicine. animals of all shapes and sizes are her passion and she's always wanted to run a veterinary clinic using her homemade concoctions.

some other favorites --
- archery, because of the focus and skill that it takes to shoot an arrow.
- long hikes to enjoy nature, get fresh air, and pick herbs for her recipes.
- soft, rainy days so that she can sit quietly with a book in her lap and a rat on her shoulder.
