Re: Furtopian no. 141 - Koi Feesh

      Username; Lillybear
      Name; Cricket
      Gender; Female
      Best friend; Pembe (owned by myself)
      How they met;

      Cricket practically glowed with excitement. Her eyes sparkled eagerly, filled with passion and curiosity. A wide, happy smile spread across her pale pink cheeks. She wore her finest dress, and spent an hour combing her hair until it was just right, not a strand out of place. Everything had to be perfect! After all, it wasn't every day you visited Furtopia for the first time! Cricket was born and raised in Swimonia; she'd never strayed from her watery home. But that day, her mother was taking her to the one and only Furtopia! She spent half of her morning getting ready and the other half asking, "Is it time yet?" "Can we go now?" "When are we leaving?"

      Once it was finally time to leave, Cricket was instantly starstruck. Her eyes widened larger than the moon, and her jaw dropped to the floor. Her heart was pounding, racing and she stood on the edge of her toes. Furtopia was huge! It was colorful and lively, busy and loud, crazy and memorizing all at once. Creatures of every species she could think of scattered amuck the streets, and even some she couldn't fathom.

      And that fateful day was the day she ran into Pembe. They were both young children at this moment in time, and didn't have a firm grasp or understanding of the world around them. Cricket was deathly afraid of cats, which was unfortunate for her because she was about to face her fear, literally face to face. As the two unknowingly passed each other, the wind caught Cricket's beanie and it blew right off her head onto Pembe's muzzle.

      "Oh!" Cricket cried, desperately trying to swoop up and grab her beloved hat. "Oh," She said once more, realizing it'd hit the Furtopian next to her. As Pembe slid the hat off of her face, revealing her furry face, long whiskers and pointed ears, Cricket's heart dropped. "Oh," she whispered, suddenly gripped by fear. This was her last moment, she was sure. This cat would unleash her claws and fangs out on her, and it'd be over. She'd go down painfully, the cat's hissing and yowls ringing in her mind, the last sound she'd ever hear. Her vicious, blood-stained face and villainous grin the last thing she'd ever see.

      But then...

      Pembe handed Cricket her hat without a word, no fangs, no claws or hissing or blood.

      [398 words]

      Cute story involving them;

      Cricket and Pembe were inseparable. Pembe had competently changed Cricket's world that one fateful day, so many days ago. Cricket grew attacked to the lovable, inspiring cat Pembe. She made her think in ways she'd never thought before, and showed her how to look at things in an entirely different way. They could finish each other's sentences and read each other's minds as if they were sisters. So the morning Cricket met with Pembe and she had a mask covering her face, she was absolutely clueless.

      Cricket's arm was instantly draped around Pembe's shoulder, a concerned, caring frown drawn on her face. "Hey, what's wrong, are you okay?" She asked. Cricket could tell something was wrong, because Pembe wasn't acting like herself. She was unusually quiet, her eyes were colorless and watery, and her self esteem drooped.

congrats.
not accepting pms right now unless I add you to my friends list.
finally quitting. I've told myself I'll quit soon, and I never did, but I finally feel like I should quit. Still keeping my characters/deviantart though. I've wanted to quit for a long long time, but I'm doing it.
Nobody on here talks with me , is friends, and I try to chat on the FR thread but nobody responds much.
Quitting CS and flightrising.

All my fr dragons/stuff went to one of my real life best friends, so don't ask for my FR stuff.
