I love this picture, because it reminds me of when I was younger and we lived in Montana. We lived basically on the middle of nowhere, and we were surrounded by nature and its amazing beauty. This picture reminds me of it so much, because it gives you the feeling of security while in a forest you are familiar with.

I recently stumbled across an absolutely amazing opportunity to ride several of my neighbours horses (he has 7!). As I was just taking this pretty mare Bonnie out on a hack last week there was the most beautiful rainbow. It was really low and really really clear. I couldn't help but wonder if there was a pot of gold and a leprechaun waiting at the end! I quickly snapped a pic on my phone just hoping it would look just as good in the photo as it looked in real life, and it does, almost. The red of the gate against the greens of the fields, not to mention the cute little cow hidden in the field make it a really stunning country photo. That day it was all grey and drizzling and I wasn't especially looking forward to riding in the rain, but just as I hopped on Bonnie it cleared up and then this happened. I like to think it was nature's way of telling my to cheer up and stop being so pessimistic cx

explanation: honestly, i enjoy this picture for the creativity put behind it. it displays the american struggle of maintaining freedom and still representing ourselves for who we are proudly despite being attacked from all sides by differing assailants. it also shows that even when our lands are practically uncontrollable, we will find a way to overcome it's headstrong ways and have it obey us. it will be the key to our victory.
