Greek derived from the word hydor, meaning "water." In mythology, this is the name of a many-headed water dragon killed by Hercules.
Personality:
Hydra is a very mysterious Mer-kalon, often avoiding interacting with others and going of on her own to explore. she's very curious about everything from the dry land to the farthest parts of the ocean. She often daydreams about what it would be like to be able to not only walk on land but also fly so she can travel all over the world. She is a bit hard to warm up to and often has a hard time bonding with others. She loves collecting things like jewelry and things from the land.
]History/Backstory:
Hydra comes from a underwater civilization in the ocean hidden within a coral reef. She was born to a high class family but one day her parents were attacked by a shark and killed. She's since then she's been raised by her aunt who is a very strict Mer-kalon who runs a privet school. Once she was able to move out she did, and now roams the sea's and oceans exploring as much as she can and even going to beaches and watching the kalon's on land.

- ran away from home because didn't want to carry out the
