ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ ⚡
Lupa is silent, mysterious and extremely critical. She tries not to reveal much about herself, usually dropping casual and wise remarks with a soothing voice while staying on the sidelines. Lupa is very strict and serious, mainly due to her struggle to socialize properly with other Sheers. She has a strong sense of right and wrong, and can sometimes get carried away due to it. Lupa is very harsh on those who cross into the boundary of what she deems wrong and will end up criticizing them, though she cools down after a few hours. Lupa has a sense of humour that exists, but very few have managed to get a chuckle out of her.

Around her protected, she appears more gentle and your first impression would be wise. She is more of a guide than a caretaker to her Protected, giving them advice after she has cleansed their dream.

chapter 1 ;;

"She has fangs!"
"How would her Protected not be scared?"
"She's not normal!"

At least, those were the snippets of the conversation between her parents she could remember as they discussed her every night once they assumed she was asleep. In a flash, she was quickly dropped off at the front of a brick building that seemed to tower over her. She only had two belongings with her. A tattered blue hood, and a small wolf plush. How would she even get used to life like this, without seeing the gentle sunny smile of her mother that warmed her very heart in her dreams?

She meekly followed the caretaker, hooves clicking against the wooden floor as they trotted down the corridor. Then, the older Sheer stopped. They opened the door for her, and she reluctantly trotted in. The room was dimly lit by a single table lamp, and there was nothing else other than a simple mattress and pillow in the corner. Before she could turn around to look at the caretaker, the sheer had already closed the door behind her, leaving Lupa in complete silence. The young sheer somberly headed towards the mattress, collapsing onto the soft cotton structure. Curling up around her plush toy, she began to sob. It required no acting, it just came to her naturally. Then, she fell asleep.

chapter 2 ;;

For the next few days, she stayed cooped up in her room. Sometimes, a caretaker would slightly open the door and slide a plate of food and glass of water in, and Lupa would eat it. However, the times when they did slowly grew less frequent, and Lupa just felt more unmotivated and anxious.

She curled up on the mattress she had grown to know over the past few days once again. She shut her eyes, but a burst of wild panic sent her eyes flying wide open again. The young sheer let out a wail, curling up tighter as she nuzzled the limp wolf plush by her side. Shortly after, a caretaker slammed open the door of her room. Instead of attempting to comfort her, the caretaker's eyes widened in shock. The older sheer was frozen to the spot for a moment, but they eventually went our and closed the door behind them.

Lupa had finally willed her lungs to take in air normally, and pain had ceased. She drifted off to sleep once again, with the thought that the caretaker was definitely terrified of her.

chapter 3 ;;

Lupa awoke in a forest clearing. Instead of the lush green clearing she was expecting, the clearing was dreary and dark. Dark clouds loomed and rolled across the grey sky, and thunder roared to signal the coming of a storm she couldn't see. "Hello," she called out. Lupa could only hear the echo of her voice. A shiver ran up her spine, and she instinctively started running. The clatter of hooves against dirt and stone echoed throughout the silence once again, and Lupa fortunately skidded to a halt before she could hit a tree. The young sheer despondently sat down, staring at the monotone, wiry trunk of the tree. The young sheer nearly collapsed in a puddle of sobbing and wailing, but there was no chance for her to as a creaking noise broke through her train of thoughts.

Mystified, Lupa looked up at the tree. The bark had begun to morph, and fallen twigs that surrounded the tree began to shiver. Lupa backed away, her eyes glued to the tree in horror as it moulded itself into the shape of a large wolf. The large, grey shape howled, before glaring down at Lupa.

Then, with teeth bared, it lunged at her.


Lupa shut her eyes and braced herself for the pain, but there was none.

It was a while until Lupa dared to pry her eyes open once again. But when she finally did, it was worth it. The dreary, dark forest had been turned into a flourishing green woodland. The trill of birds could be heard, and if Lupa listened close enough, there was a bubbling creek in the distance. Slivers of the azure sky could be seen among the green foilage. Lupa was amazed. But... how? With the absence of her mother, she had no good dreams during the past few days. This felt so... pleasant. It was as if the last piece of the puzzle had been fit into her life. She decided to treasure this moment, and the young sheer beamed as she lay down on the grass and appreciated the first good dream she had.

In front of her, a single cherry blossom flower had fallen.

Jasper has two distinct personalities. They are entirely separate, and neither can remember the events that occur while the other is in control. Jasper is aware of his split personality, and refers to them as the "Ｗｏｌｆ" and the "Ｌａｍｂ". His personality switch is normally triggered by REM sleep, or extreme stress.
Due to his split personality, Jasper does not get much sleep in between the shift. He is often quite exhausted when he wakes up, but unable to go back to sleep without risking 'waking up' his other personality.

Jasper does not have a single "protected", instead he randomly walks the dreams from surrounding villages. He primarily hunts down and chases away nightmares, meaning he inevitably comes across nightmares of himself...or at least the monster the villagers see him as.

☼ Ｔｈｅ 'Ｌａｍｂ' ☼

Jasper's 'lamb' personality is very introverted and sensitive. He enjoys stability, carefully organizing every part of his life. He lives in constant fear that his secret will be discovered, and as thus, does not have much interaction with the villagers outside of delivering his baked goods. Though he is very used to this loneliness, it still bothers him from time to time. He enjoys reading above most other pastimes, though much of his collection has either been destroyed or gone missing due to the 'wolf'.
Jasper hates the 'wolf' for his petty tricks, and has taken to keeping his important things hidden, even though the "wolf" usually finds them anyway... the 'Lamb' is very afraid that the 'Wolf' will one day do something truly horrible.

☾ Ｔｈｅ 'Ｗｏｌｆ' ☽

On the flip-side of the coin, Jasper's 'wolf' personality is reckless and cruel. he is purely impulsive, acting more like a wild beast that a sheer. This version of Jasper thoroughly enjoys scaring anyone foolish enough to enter the forest after dark. On rare occasions he will strike up a conversion with one of his more interesting "playmates" before he begins the chase. If too many nights have passed without anything 'fun' to occupy him, he might choose to directly enter one of the villages to terrorize it's residents.
The 'wolf' enjoys tormenting the 'lamb' by hiding his things from him, and leaving his carefully organized home in chaos. to the 'wolf's great chagrin, he becomes inexplicably sleepy when the sun rises, eventually passing out in some random corner of the woods, leaving the 'lamb' to find his way home.

-the "lamb" fears the "wolf" will do something horrible, he is constantly scared that someone will discover his secret. He hates the "wolf"'s tricks, and has taken to keeping his important things hidden, even though the "wolf" usually finds them anyway...
-The switch is triggered when he falls into REM sleep, OR extreme stress.
- usually the "wolf" wakes up at night, and the "lamb" during the day. But there have been times when the order was thrown out of balance and the "wolf" is awake during the day.
- he is usually really tired during the day due to his nightly activities
- what little sleep he does get, he does his job as a sheer, chasing away nightmares.
-he does not have a single "protected" instead he walks the dreams of the surrounding villages. This means he often comes across himself in their nightmares...or at least the monster they see him as. chasing away nightmares of himself is his way of fighting back against the "wolf".
-the "lamb" is very calm, gentle, and shy, while the "wolf" is reckless, cold, and callous

History;;
-the "wolf" began to appear when Jasper was very young, though the wolf was not much of a threat, the other residents of their villagers became frighted by his erratic nightly behavior. He and his mother were shunned for many years, until Jasper's "wolf" personality finally scared them enough that they chased him and his mother from the village. So they took up residence deep in the forest, Jasper continued to bake pies and other pastries, while his mother delivered them, for fear that if Jasper delivered them he would be recognized.
- after his mother's death, Jasper continued to bake, delivering the pies himself.
- he wears the hood during deliveries to avoid being recognized as the same frighting sheer who haunts the forest.
-the "wolf" is well known by the locals, and feared by many. Though he rarely comes near the villages, the rumors grew and transformed to make the "wolf" out to be far more frightening then he truly is.
