Name:
        Taylor Rosie ; Tay
Gender:
        mare
Halter Color:
black with golden buckles and a white small cat on the noseband
Personality:
        [189 words]
Tay is a calm mare, now. She wasn't before but with extensive training she was able to be ridden by young riders. Sense she had been out of shape, getting her back in shape wasnt easy, but it worked. She is sometimes snappy, when forced to do things she doesn't want to do. Or when people talk about her past. She doesn't like to live in the past she likes to live in the future. She hates when people annoy her, and she hates being with other horses. Though she sometimes enjoys the company. She does still spook a lot, but never with anna, maybe it's because anna’s young and she wants to protect her, like a mare protects a foal. Nothing beats the bond between a mare and a foal. Sense tay is now cross country, she needed more strength in certain areas, such as her legs to perform the take off and landing, she had a hard time training, since she didn't want to do it, and some trainers got kicked, or bucked off. She isn't proud, but she's happy she decided when she wanted to train.
Story:
        [523 words]
Tay was born in a high class dressage barn, with a lot of training she finally became a good mare. She was used as a school horse until she was ready, for the olympics. Of course she had been showed a lot, and had qualified.
The pair, tay and brook adams, were finally at the olympics. The arena was freshly sanded and the two were excited. Though it didn't last for long. Tay spooked at something, what that is still remains a mystery today. Anyway, tay took off, and dumped brook on the way. The mare kept running and running until she was caught. Brook sold her. She didn't want a mare that was so unpredictable. Tay had been in the sale arena forever, until a young girl came by. “Mom look!” she said, smiling.
“What is it hun?” her mother asked, more interested in the smaller, and safer pony.
“It's a bear run tolter! These things are rare! Can we get her?”
“Hun, this young rocky mountain pony looks more safer i mean-”
“Please? Please please please?” she asked. And her mother sighed. Nodding.
“Okay, okay fine” she mumbled, handing the worker the money. The two loaded up the mare onto the trailer, and brought her back to her current home. Rocky Mountain Stables. Of course, our high class dressage trainers looked and cared for her until she was ready for work again, and soon she was. The little girl, anna had tacked her up, put her helmet on and got on. Tay took off, but anna held on, she rode that mare. Everyone was shocked. Except, tay didn't wanna do dressage after that, and anna didn't either, the two tried everything. Until they settled on cross country. It was more thrilling and exciting for the both of them. She thought that tay and her were the best match, and they were.

It was three years later when it happened. No one knew who it was, but a stallion got loose. One of the mares was pregnant and it seemed tay was the one. She was put out of work for a while, and had the foul, unfortunately, the barn needed money, and the barn was in debt. They had to give up the foal or the mare. They couldn't give up tay, so they sold the foal. Anna had to get money and fast. She and tay trained, trained and trained until they were ready for the cross country competition. They were doing so good, and it was exciting, for they won. 1st place. The bright blue ribbon hung around tay’s neck. They were able to buy back the foal, so tay and the foal could be reunited. Tay now is still a cross country horse though she still sometimes does dressage, in her paddock, alone. Leg yields, counter canter, flying and simple changes, everything in the book.

Tay wishes she could still do dressage, but if anna’s happy, the mares happy. She does hope anna sees her doing dressage movements and they do it again, but, whatever happens. Taylor rosie will always, always be the best cross country mare at that barn.

Make room, we're
taking over here!
You're the galantine;
cold and alone,
it suits you well.
Won't find me
perching here again.

May your feet serve you well,
and the rest be sent to Hell-
Where they always have belonged,
cold hearts brew colder songs.
Fate will play us out
With a song of pure romance,
so stomp your feet
and clap your hands:

Let's kill tonight, kill tonight;
show them all you're
not the ordinary type.
Let's kill tonight!

Name:
SATO Let's Kill Tonight
"Brendon"

Gender:
Stallion

Halter Color:
Bright blood red, black metal.
Maybe a black noseband with little
candy corn on it? 8D

Image
Personality:
Brendon is just your typical stallion; grazes, sleeps, flirts with mares, loves to jump; you know, the usual.
Oh, and did I mention he is also an adrenaline junkie and Halloween fanatic?
Brendon is a high-strung Tolter who likes to live on the edge; high energy and hard to handle, he requires an experienced rider with the same likes and personality type as himself, otherwise they'd either be thrown, scared of him, or would get fed up with trying to work with him. He's very high maintenance, but is always eager to learn, eager to work, and excited to compete. Once his rider pulls out his competition tack, he starts to prance and throw his head in pure excitement. At his best, Brendon is loyal, eager, and fun; almost too fun, to be honest. Often times, outside of competition (and sometimes even then!) he doesn't really know how to be serious. He tends to think life is one big game: catching him in the pasture is a game of tag, taking a bath is a challenge to find the nearest dirt patch, a vet checkup is time to play hard to get, etc. It can get very frustrating, especially when no amount of punishment, reward, or training ever does any good to change his habits.
At his worst, Brendon is actually quite the different horse. He has been known to act very mysterious and even a little bit odd; he's rarely aggressive, but if he is angry, he's a force to be reckoned with. But that's not his biggest problem; although he'll bravely run into a dark forest during a new moon, he can actually be quite flighty. All it takes is for him to be alone; he's terrified of it. Even if it's a bright sunny day outside and he's got a huge pasture all to himself, he goes ballistic; once he almost pushed himself into a panic attack. He's got severe separation anxiety, so he always has to have a companion of some kind within eyesight. Nobody knows why he's this way; it was the way he came to Amethyst Ridge Ranch, and with no papers or documentation of his last home. All Amethyst knows is that he came to the ranch as a walking skeleton with huge patches of missing coat. If Brendon could talk (and he wasn't so concerned with keeping up his "bad boy" façade), he'd tell them that he was scared of being forgotten, or being left behind; after all, that's why he came to the ranch as nothing more than a walking skeleton....

Story:
"No! No wait! Come back! Come back, I'll do better! I'll jump higher, I won't eat as much! Please! Come back!"
The only sound that broke the quiet foggy morning was the desperate whinnying of a young stallion, just barely an adult, calling out to the horse trailer as it pulled away. He raced along the fence line after it, trying to catch up, but the car was driving too quickly, pulling ahead bit by bit-
Suddenly, the spotted stallion slipped on the dewy grass and went tumbling to the ground; he ended up in a tangle of legs and tail, and the wind was knocked right out of his lungs. He stood up coughing, but still managed to shake the dirt from his mane and eyes. By the time he looked again, the truck and trailer was gone in a cloud of dust. "Please... Please come back?"

A sudden jolt startled the stallion awake, and in a minor panic he looked around to get his bearings. Instead of a foggy pasture he found the walls of his familiar trailer stall with his favorite orange bucket filled with water in front of him, and a little bit of hay for the long drive. He took a deep breath, thankful that it was only a dream. He couldn't go through that again... He wouldn't survive another heartbreak like that, no.. Never again, never ever ever-
"Have that dream again?" A deep rumbling voice spoke, and Brendon turned to look at the Starenvior in the stall next to him; he was a massive, galaxy-marked stallion that Brendon learned went by the name of Corvus. The smaller Tolter looked at him guardedly, indecision shining in his golden eyes before he scoffed and muttered a half asleep and irritated "no". "You know," Corvus continued, turning his head back to watch the world pass by outside. "There are no other horses here and the humans are up in the truck. There's no reason for you to keep up this tough guy facade; I know the look of heartache all too well. You can hide it from everyone else, including yourself, but you can't hide it from me, kid."
Brendon watched him out of the corner of his golden eyes, trying to pretend that he had no clue what the star-marked stallion was talking about. But no matter how hard he tried to squash it down, that horrible feeling of loneliness and anxiety continued to eat away at the edges of his mind. Finally the younger stallion gave a heavy sigh, lowering his voice to but a mere whisper. "Yeah, it was that dream again."
"Do you want to talk about it?" Corvus asked softly, turning his massive head to look at the stallion he'd taken to as a son. Indecision still pricked at the back of Brendon's conscious, but it had become apparent over the last few months that doing as he had been wasn't helping his situation. Slowly he built up his courage, took a deep breath, and started from the beginning....

I need to know more! What happened?! Why is he so afraid to be alone?! -shakes Spartan-
Anyways congratulations! I've chosen you as this boys long overdue winner! Please treat him good <3
Totally need to commission you to do some art for me too <3
