Hypno loves to walk at night and look at the stars. That's why she's tired... Most of the time... Sometimes Hypno sleep walks the same path she does when she's awake. You can't tell is she's awake or asleep, but you better just assume she's asleep because she does bite. Other times she stays up really late working on art and wakes up early.

The night before, Avalon and her best friend, Audrey, were out all night celebrating. Long story short, Avalon is in med school, and she just aced this huge test, so Audrey took her out to celebrate. You see, Avalon is more of a mellow, sit at-home-and-get-take-out kind of girl. Thats how she normally celebrated, at least, but Audrey refused to let her do that. She picked her up that night after she told Audrey about the results, and Audrey took her to her favorite sandwich place downtown by the beach. They lay down their beach blankets on grass on the hill just above the beach, ate their sandwiches, and goofed around like best friends do while watching the sun set. Avalon assumed it was going to be another quiet and mellow day, but right after they were done eating, Audrey got up and dragged Avalon down to the beach. It was dark by then, but Audrey didn't care. Lots of young cows come down to this beach at this time of night every Friday, playing loud music, messing around in the cold water, or even setting up a fire and sitting around it with their friends. Audrey knew most of the cows there as she is the much more sociable friend, but Avalon is a bit more shy and keeps to herself, so she didn't know a lot of them. However by the end of the night, Avalon finally started to settle in and she ended up having a bit of fun! A bit too much fun, actually. They were there until at least 2 am, until Audrey had to drag Avalon home after the very long night of celebration. The next morning she was absolutely exhausted, but hey, at least she got an A on that test, right?

Estella is rather a jumpy young heifer and she get freaked out about the smallest little noise. She doesn't like surprises and has a variety of both rational and irrational fears. But despite being so irrational when it comes to the things she thinks about she is surprisingly very logical, and it is logic that has brought her where she is now. If there is one thing she fears more than anything else it's vulnerability. And when could you be more vulnerable than when you are asleep? Because of this Estella does anything she can to stay awake, leading to being extremely tired nearly all of the time.

Why they are tired --
Rosabella is a surrogate mother, she is pregnant with a calf for a show-cow who is unable to
bear calf's. She's done this before for other cows but it' very draining at times, but she doesn't mind
doing it. It's her job and she loves it, even though it's hard on her but it's worth it in the end seeing
the happy healthy calf and a grateful mother.

Well, you see North is tired because... well... let's just say she's off to find the North Pole. She hasn't quite found it yet, no surprises there. Anyway North has not stopped trying to look for, what the handlers say, the North Pole. They believed this because no matter what she always likes to face North and becomes exceptionally happy when the temperatures drop. However, she seems to now not want to go to sleep and continue her search, to the worry and annoyance of both handlers and buttermilks alike. However, not affecting her much besides permanently leaving a tired look on her face, until the handlers can make her go to sleep. Anyone for a lullaby?

Why they are tired -- Dusk recently stumbled upon a young abandoned goat. She was worried about him, so she brought him home with her to take care of. This goat has frequent nightmares, however, and Dusk often wakes up to him crying. She makes sure to stay up to comfort him until he goes back to sleep. This can sometimes take quite a while, and on some nights it happens more than once. Dusk believes he'll grow out of it but for now, she goes with little sleep.
