Why?: Iris' are her favorite flowers because she was named after them and they have always held a special place in her heart. Her and her father would always go into a large, beautiful meadow and pick these gorgeous flowers with her. One day, her father got very ill and passed a week later, and before he died, he gave her an Iris seed to plant in memory of him.

why // emery is, at the very least, incredibly vain and narcissistic. though he hardly has the time to focus on things like animals and plants [really, he only focuses on pretty kalons and valuable things], he was delighted to find out he bore a resemblance to the passion flower. just the right touch of unique yet still stunning- emery quickly deemed it his favorite flower [and hasn't given it another thought since]. in his own words- "after all, who wouldn't love something that looked like me?"
personality // emery is flirtatious and incredibly outgoing; the life of the party wherever he goes. he prides himself in his looks and flaunts them constantly, never missing a chance to admire himself in a mirror. others equally hate and love him; he's charming. if he wants something, he will get it, no matter the amount of backstabbery and manipulation or bribing it takes. those who remain in his way? they are... quickly removed from the occasion. emery may be small and not very strong, but he makes up for it with his way with words. it's never hard for him to find a target and latch on; with a few winks and a night of fun, he leaves his prey behind dazed and with an empty wallet. emery has learned not to grow attached to anything; he has barred himself from loving. he has accumulated such an image that no one has the gall to stand up to him or reveal what he truly does; if someone gets testy, he's quick to up and leave. he's seen countless cities and places, but he leaves them all behind- emery is never in one place for long. he is fragile- sometimes too fragile to take what he does, and he has developed many phobias and nervous tics; but he is always quick to hide them and return to his flirty self. just like a passion flower, which only lasts a day or a few before closing, emery is constantly moving and changing, on from one thing to the next, attracting those who pass by but never remaining for long.

Personality: Viridienne is as graceful as a bird and sings as sweetly as one, too! Her voice is like silk and the same goes for her fur. However, she isn't vain or anything but is devoted. She is artistic and motherly and hums quietly as she sews a dress for you or gives you an icepack for your face that you hit on something. She loves helping others and is the most confident Kalon most anyone would know, so she would makes friends easily if she didn't live in such a lonely quiet open field. For such a dainty Kalon she sure does have a lot of power and motherly advice.

Why?: Angel's Trumpet flower sound so beautiful but are very poisonous! She had everything anyone could ask for- a caring family, plenty of goodies, and cute pet popcorn bats. But she wanted more. She had fallen in love with a neighbor Kalon and went out to pick flowers for her. They happened to be that poisonous flower, and she'd shortly found out. Viridienne could never be happy if she didn't love her, so she picked them anyway since they were so beautiful, but never made it to her Kalon love. Instead she came to Viridienne and saved her, so the Angel's Trumpets have become a good memory for her. The good overpowers the bad.
