UPDATE;; July | 20 | 2020
|| I've officially left this site. To those who built me up, who encouraged me, who offered me company and roleplayed with me despite my rather juvenile behavior, and who joined me in OC competitions, I want to thank you! This site introduced me to things that would mold and impact my life forever, and would help me find my dream career and grow myself as a person. I may have moved on from CS, but I will never forget my roots, nor will I forget the sheer happiness this site brought and the amazing people I've had the incredible pleasure of meeting. Thank you all so much for helping me to get to where I am today. <3 ||

Real name ||Hathor
- means the goddess of love and joy | X
- Goes by Ice, however
Gender || Cis-female
In General || Hathor is a realist, seeing both sides to everything. She isn't blinded by fast truths or opinions of either side. Seeing the glass as both half full and half empty, her attitude can be viewed as pessimistic, however her words are wise. She offers advice to those who seek it and help for those who need it. She can seem rather distant from others, and quite hard to approach, but Hathor wouldn't harm you if you don't have the intent to harm her. She's not a romantic either, her walls barricaded with barbed wire and concrete walls. There has only ever been one she felt for, a simple childhood crush now gone. She sees it as foolishness, and quite unnecessary. Hathor is harsh, but why would she not be? She sees no point in silly little games, only the main focus overall. She can be quite rude, although she means nothing if it. That's just who she is, she can't help it. What Hathor has an abundance of is her curiousity and fascination of life. She is fascinated by it, all of it. How it works, how we're made up of tiny cells which are made up of even smaller things. She wishes to take the abilities of certain animals and successfully replace DNA in a safe manner, while being able to create something that'll make life easier for everyone. A strong and obedient soldier, or just an intelligent animal that could co-exist with kalon life.
Apathetic || A lack of emotion or enthusiasm, a simple definition that defines Hathor's attitude towards everything. She's been told she's as cold as ice, with seemingly no love for any being or object at all, and she knows it. She purposely shows no interest in things, she feels that this way nobody would know how to exploit weakness and showing no fear can discourage an enemy. She lost interest with petty things long ago as a child, and never seemed to grow out of it. It's not common you see any more than a smile out of her, and if you do you better remember it for a long while because chances are you'll never see it again. Nothing other than the realization she had to fight to survive in her old gang made her this way, an apathetic 'monster' that only looked out for herself, and she believes that's how it should be. "Don't bother caring for someone else, that only allows weakness.
Keen || Hathor has always been quick to pick up on things. From emotions to skills, she's quick to things, which is helpful in various situations. That nail pick you do when you're nervous? She can see it. That tiny twitch you do when you're angry? She sees that too. She uses this skill constantly, as being able to read how someone reacts to the situation tends to come in handy. Reading people isn't easy, and Hathor has been wrong before (although this is very rare).
Silver-Tongued || When you need new recruits for your gang you have to be persuasive, now here's the thing: she can persuade someone without making false promises and telling them lies. Hathor has such a twisted way with words it lingers in your mind until you decide you must join. It's rather hypnotic the way she speaks, the slow and steady tone that never shifts to anger if you decline her offer.
Candor || One of the things Hathor hates most is lies and false promises. These tear people apart and create long lasting grudges between friends. No, Hathor will never lie no matter how brutal. She, if anything, easily weasels her way around a question or won't say a clear answer. She can be very brutal when saying things, whether it's gang related or not. Away from her gang, she's made little kids cry and grown Kalons extremely uncomfortable.
History/Backstory || You know, everything that was evil was once innocent, happy, and young. Just because you hold different ideals, it doesn't mean you're evil. This is the case with Ice, better known as Hathor when she was only a child. She was born to a normal middle-class family, two loving parents and a few siblings to boot. She was the youngest, and was always looking up to her siblings, hoping she could be as great as they were. She was a very loved child, in fact, no neglect or abuse or any hint she would turn out to be a gang leader. In school she was outgoing and friendly, the one everyone trusted with their secrets. Life was normal for Hathor, until one day she was approached by a small teenager, who seemed friendly enough. She was walking home from school, as she did every day, however this time she wasn't accompanied by her two best friends, Spark and Flame. The older kalon asked her for some help, and without thinking little Hathor agreed without question until later, when his attitude changed from happy to serious. He explained that he was leading her to a life of glory, honor, and happiness, and she would be apart of something bigger than she could imagine. Hathor never understood, but was too afraid to try to run away since she wasn't sure of her way home, and knew if he tried to stop her she could get injured. So, she followed him to where a large group of Kalons were gathered, staring at her and 4 others she didn't recognize. That's when a deep, masculine voice rang out. "Welcome, young recruits, you have been hand chosen to join our group, a group that fights for peace and hope in our city." Hathor could sense the ice in his voice, the coldness in his glowing eyes, she knew he was lying right away, and he continued. "You can live your normal lives, but if called you must answer. This is a lifelong commitment, and there are no backing out." Hathor was of course scared, but didn't really see that she had a choice. "Now all of you must take an oath, are you all ready?" And she did.
Over the next few weeks, everyone noticed a dramatic change in her personality and attitudes towards everyone. Automatically secluded, keeping to herself. Not a word to her friends any longer, no expressions as her friends worry and worry for days, and as those days turn to weeks and weeks turn to months she became a cold and distant kid who stayed to herself. Her family noticed it, but when confronted she didn't raise her voice nor did she protest, she simply stated she decided she wanted to live a better life and she had to change to do so. Unsure of how to respond, her parents let her be in belief this was simply a phase, and she would be natural given time.
This change also alarmed her two best friends the most, who constantly asked questions and demanded answers as to why she was this way all of a sudden. Hathor only responded with "you will see, don't worry." This answer didn't clear things up, not until about two months into this new change where she brought them to the new recruit initiation. "It will be great, you'll see." she would mutter to them, she couldn't see their concern. The same ritual went on for them as it did for her. She was asked by their leader, who's name was unknown to her, to find more recruits, and if she had she would be rewarded. She wasn't even sure what she was recruiting for, they had only shown her how to fight (not that she was any good) and to be careful because others must not know unless being recruited. Hathor was usually nervous when coming into these meetings, so she believed bringing her two best friends would make it easier to be around. Oh how wrong she was. They had agreed to do so, and as the years went by they grew distant from one another, being influenced by different Kalons that roamed their gang. They were about 17 when they each decided they had enough of these lives, and spoke out against their leader, Cadarric. Each spoke of their own opinions, and each appealing to different Kalons, who rose behind them and rioted against Cadarric. Three groups rose and split, the leader overthrown, 3 new gangs emerging.
Hathor, at age 19 and now called Ice for the coldness that ran through her veins, the connection she had to ice, how she felt like it was her own element. She, wishing to appeal to various Kalons of any age and as a tribute to her favorite childhood game, used an Articuno as her logo and mascot. An frozen bird, the first of a legendary trio. An idolized figure, a Pokemon, something everyone anywhere would recognize. Indeed a perfect logo for the perfect group. Her 'gang' lost many of its old habits, such as the blood oath and the constant fighting. They became a more wise and intelligent group that were more focused on good things than bad. Despite the change, you weren't allowed to leave, but Ice was very picky on who would leave. They moved to a large abandon warehouse, where they easily redecorated and took over. Their motive? Making sure the other two teams are vanquished, while she spent her time researching how genetics work and the DNA of animals.
While this gang activity did take up quite a bit of her life, she managed to find something she loved. She wishes to go to college and become a biological scientist that studies both kalon and various other animal DNA, in hopes of being able to safely mix DNA and make an entirely new and sentient species.
What makes Hathor a good leader || Hathor may not be like the other two in a much more chilling way. She uses fear, intelligence, and patience to lead her gang. Calm under pressure, very stratgic, and always one step ahead of the other groups are just a few ways Hathor knows how to lead. She doesn't make herself very approachable to anyone, and doesn't come off as the kindest kalon. Nevertheless, she knows how to gain respect wherever she goes, gaining obedience and followers. She isn't like the old and original leader, who lied and cheats others, no, she's honest and can be brutally honest when explaining what is happening. Nonetheless, her members appreciate her ideals and show pure loyalty.
Hathor spends a lot of time watching, staying in the shadows and making sure nobody gets overly confident. It's organized, and their goal is clear: Improving the lives of everyone else by the means of animal genetics. When rioting, she was the one to fight for improving lives rather than destroying hem, helping life evolve rather than harm it. She has seperated her gang into groups based on age and intelligence, as anyone of any age can join if deemed worthy enough. Spies, who infiltrate the other two groups for their own information, just to see what's going on. These are those who have proven themselves loyal in every way, and those she can trust wholeheartedly to not betray her. Then there are the researchers, who help her in her efforts to create a living creature using the DNA of other animals. The final are the fighters, who protect their base from the red and yellow teams, as well as other Kalons who think they can make a functional gang to take hers on. Orginization and functionality are key in running her gang.
Relationship with the other leaders ||
Once great friends, these three no longer see eye to eye on things. While Hathor has a very 'clear' sense of right and wrong, she feels that the other two are just not as bright as she is. With the mind you can do so much, but what the other two value? Nothing compared to the power of the mind and logic.
With Valor, they're represented by an uncontrollable and rather dangerous element that spreads before you realize what's going on. Power over logic is basically what she sees out of them, and there's a reason a fighting type loses to a psychic type. Brain over brawn, Mind over muscle. Quite frankly she believes mystic and valor are total opposites that are supposed to compliment one another, with fire and ice clashing but always being classified together. She despises team valor, and simply finds them incredibly annoying.
With Instinct, she seems to kind of pity them, I mean who runs around trusting their gut feelings and being nice to everyone? Hatho doesn't see them as a threat at all, and makes fun of them quite often. Instinct goes against logic, which she finds just plain odd. When you have the facts, why go with your gut feeling if it's wrong? It's like a trap, if you know for a fact that one path is safe but your gut is telling you to go another way that has been known for danger, which way would you go? The obvious choice, of course. The one with the facts conquers all, and in all honesty she sees no competition with either of them.
Relation to element || While the simple answer would be her attitude and personality is as cold as ice, that isn't the case, even if it's true. Hathor sees herself as Ice itself, including the ever changing properties of ice. Ice can change into the 3 properties; solid, liquid, and gas. Just as they can change freely between the three and still be the same, Hathor can change her attitude, appearence, and personality if need be. She also resembles the 3 kinds of forms ice can take on. She is hard and sturdy, hard to break and dangerous to be around. Her favorite thing to be compared to is an icicle, which are beautiful to look at, but if disturbed can easily harm someone. Like water, she can go with the flow, analyzing the situation before rushing into anything. Just as an icicle can kill, the frozen sea can drag you down and drown you, a painful and slow if you test the waters and dare to swim dangerously. Finally, like a gas she can rise to power and become something massive, like a storm. She uses this as a common metaphor for how she got to leading the gang.
Favorite Pokemon partner and why || Sneasel // Weavile
Why Weavile, when there are over 700 other choices you could pick? Well, as a child she always adored Weavile for their intelligence and speed, rather than looking at their low defense and special attack. At the same time, they're very mischievous creatures, stealing eggs of other pokemon while they're away. While some children can see that as horrifying, Hathor saw it as life and something that happens in the real world.
Hathor also likes the ice type overall, but of course Weavile takes the cake. With a great moveset, knowing aerial ace, ice punch, Swords dance and shadow ball, her Weavile is a strong team sweeper. She loves her strategy, and uses the life orb to boost it's attack, unfortunately at the cost of some hp per turn. Weavile also covers a lot of it's weaknesses with it's moveset, which helps quite a bit when competitive battling.

The interviewer wrote:In a secluded, dark office- the blinds closed so that only a few slivers of light pass through- I sit across from a dark blue figure, a stoic expression upon his face- so cold it makes my fur crawl. I have been given this gracious opportunity by the Mystic League leader himself, called Articuno, thanks to the fact that my "IQ and intentions were meeting standards"- and I'm taking it as a compliment, since very few will make it this far into Mystic headquarters. In fact, I don't even know if this is Mystic headquarters, as I was picked up on the edge of their territory and blindfolded until I got in the office (these terms were discussed beforehand to keep whereabouts confidential). He's given me 30 minutes to complete an interview so that I can finish a recent article of mine, "Pokémon and Kalons- the Connection and Teamwork Between the Two", and I hope to unearth things no one has before.
Descibe yourself in three words.
[With a slight British accent]I'm not one to boast, so... Perhaps "equanimity [having a calm composure/even temper, even in a tense situation], perceptively [having/showing keenness of insight], and perfection? By perfection, I mean that I strive for it, not that I am it.
What do you consider your greatest weakness?
Certainly the fact that I don't have all the knowledge I want. Despite what others may say, I actually feel quite dull sometimes. To become the best, I will need to know more.
Do you plan on continuing this league for many years to come?
For as long as I feel it's necessary. If I don't feel like I've made a big enough impact in my lifetime, I'll have someone continue to carry it out.
On that note, will you be looking for a successor and what qualities will you be looking for in them?
If I do look for a successor, they will have to possess all qualities and values I have, and more. If I can't finish the job, a clone copy of me certainly won't either. They will need to be smarter and perhaps have a different perspective on things.
Interesting. Now, the word on the street is that Mystic has come the closest it's ever been to finding the legendary bird Articuno. Can you confirm these rumors?
No, I can't actually. I'm not disproving them either, but that is strictly classified information. If we were to find Articuno, the public may hear of it, but not from me. Is this interview up yet?
Okay, okay, last question! Do you have anything to say to members of Instinct or Valor, or perhaps even the leaders of those two gangs themselves?
It's too late to reach the incompetent kalons that consider themselves apart of those gangs [he spits the last word]. I have nothing to say to anyone from Valor or Instinct. Goodbye.
Almost immediately after he said that, two kalons in black came into the office and I was once again blindfolded until I reached my car. Even as I write this, I feel like I can still feel the leader's icy gaze. The interview was certainly something, that although incredibly special, something I don't wish to repeat.

Fun Facts wrote:Some fun facts about Art!
-He's a Pisces, born on 3/17. Pisces are known to be friendly and most tolerable of all zodiac signs, very different from Art. However, they're also known to self pity, which is something he may be guilty of without realizing.
-Art is allergic to cantaloup [like me ayy] but doesn't really mind because he thinks it's too sweet anyways.
-His favorite dish is roasted farfetch'd and shallots, and will only have it on his birthday.
-Underneath all his fur, he's actually on the small side. He's thought of cutting it short, but since it gets pretty cold in the winters he keeps it. Will put his hair up in a bun when working.
-His parents, extremely ashamed of what their son became, faked his death and even had a small funeral for him. He heard of this but doesn't seem to care, or at least doesn't show it.
