Adventurous- Kase loves to explore, from small woods to abandoned buildings. It was always thrilling to go out and look around because sometimes there is couple of changes since the last time she went, or she'd find something good.
Intelligent- Contrary to popular belief, this possum actually loves science, something about it was also thrilling. She loved to buy kid science kits and play around with it at home or outside. It's always fun to mix chemicals together or dissect animals which she doesn't get to do often. Most of times college professors would let her assist the science class even though she is a student.
Creative- In sum of two above, Kase is truly creative with most of things. She'd build a small hut out in the woods without a tutorial or try to do kids science kits differently. Sometimes she takes up few classes to try to discover few more hobbies, be it photography, ballet, fencing, painting, anything to keep her mind busy.

History:

Growing up Kase was always home alone, her mother was constantly working, her father was always outside doing yard work or building something. She'd try to join him when he was building something since she was interested, but her father would always say it was too dangerous for her. So often, to pass the time, she'd either clean the house or watch movies. Her parents often thought she was a bit too quirky for a kid her age, since she'd often try to mix cleaning chemicals together and see what happens or thought action movies were too predictable or boring. Usually children like her would be opposite, they wouldn't do chores and would love action movies. Children even wouldn't cry all the time over anything, but the possum would.

It did carry with her throughout her teen and adult years, she still mixes cleaning chemicals together and dislikes action movies. As a joke, her parents would call her asking if she's mixing something up but it always caused her to ramble about it. They never called to ask that again after third attempt, even though they already said they were joking.

Extra:
If asked about her level of quirkiness, Kase would say it's normal. Everyone is different but she's not special.

-----Remi wasn't always living in Furtopia. Born in the Republic of Independent Creatures, living conditions were bad. Like most, Remi's parents were miners. They'd grown up accepting the futility of their future; they were never going to be anything but a miner.
-----This mentality was shunted to the side when a world famous pop group toured the RIC. They'd always had some talent when they played their mother's guitar, but they couldn't explore it as an actual hobby because of how little free time they had. Now that they had realized that music had a purpose, they had discovered a drive to work hard and play hard.
-----They didn't expect that they would leave their parents, but when they passed of old age, they threw a fit of despair and splurged all of their savings on risking their life to escape the country. Across the ocean, through Avaria, was Furtopia. Not much was better there for them at first, especially since a radical and murderous group were from the RIC. After they stopped mentioning they were from RIC, though, they managed to get a stable job and even join a local band, the Thrashers.

-----Remi is all bark. As a defense mechanism, they have self consciously began to exude a dangerous vibe. This stemmed from the hostile environment they were brought up in. They don't know about it. However, since fleeing their home country, this appearance isn't necessary anymore.
-----Another consequence of Remi's upbringing is their unwillingness to throw things away. As a kid, it was difficult to hold onto anything of value because of the regularity of robberies. Hell, even they themself had thieved a few times. This frugality makes them a borderline hoarder. They will cry in panic if you attempt to take anything away from them.
-----Naturally, Rem is turbulent. They don't have much self discipline when it comes to emotions, so most things they do is a knee jerk reaction. Something little, like stubbing their toe, can lead to a broken window. This turbulence has given them the unfortunate reaction of crying in reaction to everything. Whether they're depressed, angry, glad... they will tear up.

-----When you're in a band, your bandmates are practically family. This is the case in the Thrashers, a band in Furtopia that was born out of Eddie's garage. They play a mix of covers from popular bands and songs they write themselves. Usually punk, metal, alternative rock, or "whatever pays the bills", as Eddie says. They don't get much attention, and usually have to get gigs at unpopular hangouts or even resort to just playing out on the street.
-----None of them have any real, legal and solid jobs except for one of them, and Eddie's the only one with a car (a janky van, no less!), so they have to stick together to actually be functional. Remi has a lot of optimism for the band's future, but most don't see the worth in their music.
