> --------Optimistic -- Sorrel is a fairly optimistic bull, despite some difficulties he faced with this when he was younger. He changed his outlook on life from one that's negative, to one that tries to take everything in a good light. Sometimes his positiveness can seem a bit forced, though, and sometimes it is. He still has that little nagging part in his mind that doesn't want to see the positive side of things, and just wants to cave in to the bad parts. But feeling that he needs to be strong for the members of his family, he hides this.
-- Despite some forced optimism, for the most part he truly is optimistic. It's rather hard to make that smudge of doubt in himself show through, as he knows caving into it will get him nowhere. He prefers to see the good in everything and everybody, even if there is little good there.
--------Reserved -- Being raised by his adoptive mother, Paige, one of the quietest cows on the farm, he leaned to appreciate personal space and time alone. He often doesn't interact too much with other cows, and still tends to hang around his 'moomy,' as he calls her. This makes him seem more like a big baby then just reserved, but he doesn't care too much for what the others say about him.
-- He has his few close friends, though, Paige isn't his only friend. But even when he is with those friends he is pretty quiet, almost always letting them do the talking, with him giving the occasional response. Sometimes his friends will push him to talk more, but he considers himself a master at turning the conversation back to whoever he is with. One second a friend might be pushing him to talk about his day, then the next the friend will be talking about their day instead.
--------Thoughtful -- Sorrel is generally very thoughtful of all members on the farm, even the ones who aren't the nicest to him. If he notices that their owner doesn't give enough food to one of the cows, he will often give up a share of his food for them (especially when said cow is either Paige or one of his friends). He likes to spend time with the 'loners' on his farm, as most of them don't have too many friends. These are the kinds of cows he gets along with, the ones that he can relate to because they were tossed aside. This is how he was able to make the few friends that he has, by taking a bit of time out of his day to talk to someone who needed a friend.
--------Family-Oriented -- Sorrel is defiantly one who loves his family, both adopted and blood related. Though he may not be able to see many of his children, he still loves and adores each one. The few that actually live with him he's really protective over, maybe a bit too protective. He's always very cautious with where he lets them go and what they do, to the point where he almost has to be with them 24/7 for him to have peace of mind. This causes some of his children to grow up pretty dependent on him, which can have a negative effect on them if they are moved someplace else. He isn't the best parent in terms of preparing his kids for life, but he still loves each one dearly.

❥ With Paige --
> "Moomy"-- Paige is Sorrel's adoptive parent, having been the only one willing to take him in when he was brought to the farm. He was just a young calf when the two of them met, him being barely over 3 months old. There wasn't a connection at first between the two (in fact, he'd been known to headbutt her and things of the sort), as Sorrel had a lot of hatred built up inside of him when he was young. Questions like, "where's my real mother," and "why was I taken away," and "where am I from," often ran though his mind and fueled his tantrums.
-- It took quite a bit of time and many mishaps on the way for Sorrel to come to accept Paige as his new parent. His sore attitude when he was younger made all of the cows on their farm despise him, as he often acted out and would ram into others when they angered him. He was known to be explosive, and no one besides Paige could stand to be around him. Once he realized what everyone thought about him, he toned down his attitude a bit and eventually turned into the gentle bull he always was inside. It took a long time for him to redeem himself, but eventually the cows came to understand what he'd went through, and forgave him.
-- Nowadays Paige and Sorrel are as close as can be. She is a shoulder to cry on for him (sometimes literally), and a life long friend. As she is the oldest cow on the farm and his adoptive mother, he feels very protective of her. He rarely lets her out of his sights, just in case anything where to happen while he wasn't there. She can get slightly offended at times by his over-protectiveness, but knows he only means well by it.
❥ With Annette --
> "The endearing chatter box"-- Annette is one of Sorrel's oldest friends, only being slightly newer than Adeline. She is an expert at running her mouth, despite how little or much she has to talk about. Sorrel is quite fond of this trait, though, as it means he doesn't have to talk too dearly much. It does get a bit tiring after awhile, he will admit, seeing as though she can talk about the shape of a cloud for nearly ten minuets (true story).
-- Even though she may talk a lot about herself she really cares for Sorrel, and he knows that. That has been proven countless times when she has stood up for him when others where talking bad about him. She sees him almost like a little brother that she has to watch out for, even though she is really the one who needs someone to keep an eye on her.
❥ With Adeline --
> "Childhood crush and close friend"-- Adeline was the first friend that Sorrel made on the farm, besides Paige. She was the one that was willing to risk Sorrel lashing out at her to befriend him, and that friendship has definitely stuck. Sorrel regards Adeline as the one who was able to see past his mask of anger and understand that he was hurting. To this day she is still really sensitive to his emotions, as she is with all cows. She always knows when something is bugging him, and will be the first to get him to confess up to things. This is the trait that he believes he fell in love with when he was little. That, or he had gotten really attached to her because she was one of the first to care really about him.
-- They both like to spend time together, just sitting in silence. Sorrel has always really loved his peace and quiet, but he loves it even more when he can spend it with someone he cares for. Not too much talking goes on between the two, as they are both fairly quiet, but when they do talk it's normally about things that puzzle them in life. Adeline is the one that Sorrel comes to with all of the deep life questions he has. They will normally sit somewhere in the shade and talk things out till said mysteries make since to them.
