He started off by using this as a way to communicate amongst friends in a childhood game, in which one player knew the location of an object, but was unable to move; and had to express the exact placement to their teammates without speaking. His friends eventually caught up on this and spread it around, and at an older age he was able to use this skill to net a job in computer programming!
