Jezabella is the type of girl who will giggle at dumbest things. The type of girl who somehow manages to make friends with everyone, despite her incredibly shallow personality. She's the one who's always checking her reflection in her phone or in the nearest shop window. Or at least that's what she once was like. But before we get into that, let's go over what she was like before her life changed.
Jez Labrie was a name that everyone knew. The Beautifully Crazy Jez Labrie. She could walk into a room and make hearts melt. The attention would drift and focus on her- the compliments seemed to be the only thing Jez really heard. It all got to her head. Anyone who had the guts to throw a jab at her godly reputation would quickly be beaten down by the "friends" Jez had surrounded herself. She seemed to be everyone's worst enemy, but her reputation always remained untouched. She was the most hated and most beloved girl in her entire class.
The compliments and attention definitely got to Jez's head and heavily influenced her life. She made lots of dumb decisions- her grades dropped (not too much, but still enough to hurt), she abandoned her artistic dream, she dated the wrong Kalons. On the other hand, her popularity flourished. But all good things must come to an end.
On the outside Jez was the perfect girl. On the inside, however...
How could anyone like her truly be happy? She had somehow managed to build this empire around her...but for what worth?
Jez knew that this was not what she truly wanted. And just as she began to realize this, her friends started to realize it as well. Her empire slowly fell apart and Jez went right with it. It was time to grow up, but Jez had nothing and no one to support her. This was a time of struggling in her life, but Jez also knew it was a turning point.
Jez managed to pull her grades together just before her senior year ended. She was a tad confused on where to go and what to do with her life, but she did have an idea. But you'll learn about that later.
Jez kept her egotistical attitude, but she wasn't as bad. She started to notice the small things. She began to realize what was really important in life. One traumatic experience later, and Jez was completely changed. (;
So, in conclusion:
Jez was a flighty and shallow girl with way too many friends. She was a natural at manipulating others. Jez quickly gained much popularity and thought she was the best thing to ever walk on this planet. She slowly began to change, she became colder, and then she realized that it wasn't too late to start over.

We've already been through a part of Jez's history, but what about her childhood? Well, let's just say that she used to be very different.
Jezabella was a rambunctious and outdoors-y Kalon kit. She was fearless; want to go wading into that alligator-infested water? SURE! What about we go throw rocks at that huge wasp nest? Heck yea! We should go and chase that racoon we saw earlier! GranD IDEA! She was a happy-go-lucky, adventure loving kit!
She grew up with her two parents in a small cabin not too far from civilization. Jeza's family owned a lot of property and had a mini farm (complete with chickens, cows, and pigs!). It was located in northern forests, so the winters got very cold.
Jez didn't meet many other Kalon kits, so instead she spent most of her time outside. She explored everything she could find. She basically ruled the forest. Her father built her tree houses, played with her, and taught her many things. From him she learned how to build, fish, survive on her own, and a lot more. Jez would later realize that her father's teachings would be the reason she survived her dangerous career. He taught her about the animals that roamed the earth with Kalons. He showed her that they were to be protected and loved. Animals were just like Kalons, they just lacked voices. He taught that she needed to help be the voice for animals. Her father feared that expanding businesses and growing populations would soon wipe out most animals. She vowed that she would always be the voice that nature needed.
Her father's favorite animal was the snow leopard. Just like Jezabella, his coat resembled a snow leopard. He mentioned how silent yet graceful snow leopards are- and how they're endangered and really need someone to speak up for them. Jez never forgot that conversation.
Jez's grandparents lived with Jez and her parents on their forest farm. She was incredibly close to the four of them- they would tell her stories, make her things, and tuck her in at night. When Jeza was about 7 years old, one of her grandmothers passed away due to the cold winter.
After this incident, Jez's heart-stricken family finally decided that it was time to give up on their farm. With great reluctance, the family moved away from their home and settled in the nearest city. Jez could never explain the sadness that she felt then- it was one of the heaviest feelings she had ever felt. Her home and her grandmother were being taken away from her forever. She never forgot that indescribable longing she had for the two of them. Under the sun and surrounded by trees was where she would always belong.
From then on Jezabella went to school just like any other Kalon kit. Her flourishing popularity soon made her forget about her longing for her home. She grew up with her "empire", and as you know by college she was pretty lost and mad at what she had done.
She soon found comfort in photography, so she became a professional photographer and camera woman (...or camera kalon). She was still that arrogant girl who everyone hated loved, however. She continued to use her looks to get what she wanted and all that. Then another disaster stuck.
Jez was easily the closest with her father. As soon as she got the job to be a photographer, her father passed away. She was thrown into a pit of sadness yet again, but she was soon able to heal because she knew her father would not want her to give up on her career because of him. After this event Jez became colder and unfriendlier. She was still able to be her pompous self, but anyone could tell that it was all fake. She lost nearly every friend she had left after that.
Despite that, she continued with her career. Jezabella went on many dangerous photo shoots across the world. She was able to snap the perfect photos- a water buffalo drinking from a pond, or a tree frog leaping into the air, or an artic fox sprinting after its prey. She and her photos gained a lot of recognition and profit.
Years passed and Jez's career flourished, but her mental stability didn't. No, she wasn't incredibly depressed or anything. She was just unhappy. She was content with her career, but....having no friends can really hurt. The only family she had left by now was her mom and two grandparents. She didn't even get to see them much, though- she was always traveling.
Her sad-streak would soon come to an end. Months later, she received a once in a lifetime job opportunity- but you'll learn about that when we get to the story (;

Renie can be described as a an adventurous soul, she has always been this way since she was a young girl. Always wanting to know what is out there, what there is to see, to do. It brings her joy to go exploring or finding something she has never seen before. It kills her to just sit still when there is so much to do, she is rather brave when it comes to adventuring. Often taking the more dangerous but more fun roads to get some where. She loves the thrill of adventure wither its bungee jumping or hiking to the top of a mountain, or discovering a hidden water fall. Renie has never been one to back down from the challenge of adventure.

She is confident in everything she does, never doubting her abilities when doing something new or difficult. She is never hesitant about things either. She is highly shelf-assured that she can do anything that she sets her mind and heart on and often doesn't think it wrong for putting herself fully into a project or idea. She does not need the approval of others to give herself and positive self-evaluation. Renie does not feel the need to tell other about her own achievements to gain their approval or praise to boost herself up.

Renie is rather formal in the way she speaks and is in general, as she was raised by her grandmother and she was always taught to respect others. She has not really out grown being formal to new people she meets and the respectful way she thinks towards them, making sure to keep all her words neat and clean as well as get right to the point of certain things she wishes to address. Her grandmother rubbed off greatly on her as she has always kept the old way of doing things in her heart and follows through with what she was taught and how she was raised though she sometimes breaks her formality and does some things of her own accord but not for very long.

She is also very outspoken when she has something to say especially when dealing with something critical to her morals or controversial. She is not afraid to speak her opinion neither hesitant in saying it, not really having much caution to what others will think of her either. She always has an opinion about the subject no matter what it may be and will always speak about it one way or another. Her grandmother believed she got this from her father whom she has never met but is defiantly much like him personality wise.

Renie is argumentative, often getting into small arguments with others around her or even herself sometimes. She has different opinions that most others as she is not one to follow in line and be obedient like she was taught mostly by her grandmother. She does not enjoy others forcing their ideas or opinions on her and will often get snappy with those that do. She has at least one argument with someone a day, but has several with in her own mind through out her day. She believes that some things she thinks are correct while another part of her fights against it, she knows right from wrong but she has trouble doing the right thing when she knows the other option is wrong. This feeling causes her to argue with herself in her head over and over again.

The young girl is also clumsy when it comes to her social skills anyway. She is not the best when handling herself around others as well as a normal girl would. She was raised with very little outside contact when with her grandmother and after her passing Renie did not exactly know how to act around others, since then she has learned a bit but is still a bit awkward. Especially around new people that she does not yet know fairly well, she will often avoid meeting new people unless forced or having no other option than to interact with them.

Along with her being outspoken, she is rather blunt with her words. Getting her option out without much concern for others feelings about her words. She knows how she can be rude about things and she tried to her best to curb her tendencies but she sometimes lets a few words slip out of her mouth, and does not feel about it. Her bluntness often gets her into arguments or gets her to lose friends rather quickly, it is one attribute she is not proud of and has since learned to control it but it is not easy when she is not focusing on it all the time.

To sum Renie up, she is an adventurous girl that is very self-assured but has a rather sharp tongue when it comes to her words and mind set. Often throwing caution to the wind when speaking, very argumentative with others and herself as well. Though a friendly girl can be blunt and hurtful when pushed.





my home town:

My name is Renie Beau, I grew up in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France. More commonly known as just Chamonix. Located in the Rhône-Alpes, it is not a very big city. Only a population of around 8,900 people that currently live there, including me. The winters are freezing because of our much higher altitude but the summers are actually quite warm, though can be a bit wetter than most other places.

In the Winter it is bitterly cold, but because we are well known as a ski resort we are quite busy, the snow first stars to fall around November or December and does not stop until April and is completely gone by mid March. The temperature can drop to as low as -25°C not the most fun time to be out and about in the town. Though as I've lived there I've become accustom to the cold air and it doesn't much bother me.
Though Chamonix in Spring is gorgeous. In my village around this time there are carnivals going on with processions and events. By May the temperature is being to rise into 20°C and the alpine flowers are beginning to bloom. Spring showers are fairly common in Chamonix as well, so if you intend of visiting bring a waterproof jacket with you.
Summer is hot in Chamonix - during June, July and August, daytime highs can top 26°C, with overnight lows in the low teens Celsius. Summer rainstorms are common, as are thunderstorms. All of the lifts are open at this time, and the higher trails become open for walking, climbing or mountain biking. August can be exceptionally busy in the village, but the height of summer is the perfect time to enjoy the alpine flowers.
Autumn can be spectacular in Chamonix, as the larch trees turn the landscape golden. You’ll feel temperatures tumbling, with daily highs reaching only 7-8°C by the end of November. Autumn months can be misty, but when the sunshine breaks through these quieter months are perfect for rambling and for watersports.

my story:

I was raised by my grandmother in Chamonix France, she was very old fashioned liking me to act like a lady and raised me that way. But she knew I would not follow her every lesson as I was much like my father, my personality showed when I was a young girl. Wandering off into the flower fields in the back of my grandmother's house. I always loved to go out adventuring, running through the garden and up on the hills. Finding rabbits, lizards, and all sorts of creatures. I was very fond of nature even when it was freezing outside I would go into the snow and ramble around looking for things under the sparkling white surface. Though I was very secluded and was not allowed to play with the other children in the village, nor was I allowed to go to the carnivals and event that were held in the spring time.

My grandmother's house was located at the highest point of the village, built away from everyone else as my grandmother and grandfather were strange. They were in their own little world. I never knew either of my parents, my grandmother told me my mother had died when I was very young and my father disappeared. I never knew their faces or heard the sound of their voices, I was saddened by this but I loved my grandmother dearly and was happy with her.
