Why the scarves?;; Bandit loves mismatched things, did you know that scarf is actually one scarf? He grew up in a poor family where they reused old items, they patched old clothing with other clothes that had no purpose anymore. (Ex: Clothes that are too small.) His mother taught him how to sew things up, and he fell in love with patching clothing. Years later even with a middle-class house, he still does what he did as a kid. He just loves it now! He wears mismatched clothes all of the time. He doesn't care what people say about his style, he just says that their fashion is just as awful. Matches clothes? Eww!

Why the scarves? Orrick is very insecure about his lack of color. Most other Kalons display bright and vivid colors and designs on their fur, yet it had to be he that was cursed to live without a even a hint of vibrant pink, purple or blue in his fur. When he hears his name being called, he often turns his body towards them and looks at them head on, rather than only turning his head to the side, so that whoever looks him on focuses on his brightly colored eyes -- the part of himself that he is most proud of. You can probably tell where this is headed -- he drapes brightly colored pieces of cloth over his body to compensate for the absence of bright colors in his fur. Of course, his lack of experience with colors means that he always chooses discordant and clashing colors for his outfits.

Why the scarves?: Many Kalons believe he wears them because he's always cold or he just has an awful fashion sense. These are proved to be false. Ryasri is a Kalon with a big heart. He loves helping others in need. Whenever he sees a Kalon down on their luck in the rain, he gives them a scarf, hoping that it will brighten their day just a little bit. Seeing their smiles keeps him going and continuing. He makes these scarves so that the poor Kalons who can't get their own have one. When they ask what they can do to repay him, he just smiles and tells them to just be nice to other Kalons as he was to them. Ryasri is hoping to make the world a better place, one scarf at a time.

Why the scarves? The reason Tabitha wears so many scarves is because she wants to fit in with everyone else. And that being is because she was bullied when she was little for her plain fur. Why the scarves?
Hayden feels as if the standard image of beauty is something that's defined, or that there is an exact definition of what beauty is supposed to look like. While Hayden himself doesn't feel like he's considered ugly because of one reason or another, he has previously felt ashamed of looking different from others. Now he understands better that beauty isn't just what models look like in the magazines-- fit, tanned, muscular, etc.

Hayden wears these scarves that may not seem to go together, to show the world that he's not afraid of not fitting the "standard image" of beauty. So what, if they don't match? As long as he is happy with what he's wearing, it's beautiful enough for him.

Why the scarves: Link is a serious fashion mess. He's a 'serious' cosplayer, and most of his cosplays involve scarves of some kind. Because of this, he never really considered buying legitimate fashion scarves. He just wears his cosplay ones. At times, this can be a dilemma, since none of the scarves match anything else. He thinks its crafty and resourceful, others find it a disturbance and a crime to the fashion industry.

Why the scarves?: Excitable Henry had been trying to join the travelling circus gang ever since they settled in his town. He was turned away again and again. Ever so determined, Henry kept on coming back. When the realization struck that he didn't have the talent that the circus troupe possessed, he decided he would join the circus in a different way. Henry took to cleaning up the grounds and repairing things that were broken. He did these tasks eagerly and by choice. The circus started to notice what a big help he was and decided to hire him as their groundskeeper and attendant. Henry accepted this position with glee. But he wasn't prepared for how big of a job it would turn out to be. He was exhausted all the time because he was constantly running around and working on things. He began to discover little ways to make his job easier. One of these ways included wearing pieces of fabric around his neck. You see, a travelling circus is always quite busy and they don't have time to take care of their tattered tent or the wear-and-tear of their costumes. Part of Henry's responsibility is to look after these issues. By wearing scarves he is able to patch up torn fabric much faster than before for he always has sewing fabric on hand.
