Why Are The 'Smiling'?: Though he’s embarrassed to admit it, he had a incident with superglue. He was working in his homemade lab with a machine that was designed to turn glue into candy. He had had a long day working with it and assumed it to be completed, so he inserted the glue into it. Everything seemed to have worked accordingly, so he took one of the rounded pieces the machine had ejected and put it in his mouth. He found that, despite the hard exterior, the inside was just as... gluey. Needless to say, he can't eat now, so he has to have a tube attached to him in order to get nutrients. but he doesn't mind. The glue, was in fact edible, sugary, and tasty, and thus he has a permanent grin on his face. He went on to perfect the machine and become a marvelous chemist. He is currently working diligently to develop liquid food that tastes just like the real thing to distribute to people in hospitals who are unable to enjoy real food.

Raven slid her skateboard across the concrete. "I'm never gonna learn the McTwist!" Raven said with anger and defeat in her voice. She looked at her skateboard. Raven jumped up to her feet and grabbed her skateboard. She ran to the nearby sonic drive through. "What would you like to order?" The server said. "I'd like a large grape slushie, please!" Raven said with great excitement. "That'd be $2.39." Raven walked up to the drive-through window. She held out exactly $2.39. The server gave her the large grape slushie & her receipt. Raven automatically started to slurp down the slushie. "Have a nice day!" The server said with a smile. "You too!" Raven said while walking away & waving. Raven walked toward the skating rink with the skateboard in her left hand. Gently she put her delicious slushie drink on the ground beside a bench. She lightly hopped on, she began to practice the McTwist. She practiced till her feet began to bleed, one last time she finally tried and failed. She fell to the ground, then she hopped back on her feet and tried once again. With great speed, she accomplished her dream and began to cry with joy.

Why is He "Smiling"?: Weasel was at his least favorite place: school. He sighed as he slipped into his chair for class. He had to admit this was his favorite class, music. The teacher, an elderly greying Viscet, announced the arrival of their special guest today.
"We have the pleasure of hosting Tom Legato in our class! He's a music producer for the show 'Rising Records' and he's been looking for talented young Viscets to invite on the show."
Weasel's heart slammed in his chest. Rising Records was his favorite show and it was hosted in Hollywood. The REAL Hollywood! He had always dreamt of a music career, especially in L.A.! After what seemed like forever, his paw shot into the air. He stood up, feeling all eyes turn to him.
"I'll try," Weasel muttered.
He launched into "Welcome to My Life", his graceful voice reaching the high notes easily.

"Do you ever feel like breaking down?
Do you ever feel out of place?
Like somehow you just don't belong
And no one understands you..."

He continued on, finishing the song. When he had ended, you could hear a pin drop in the class. Tom Legato chuckled, "Welcome to Rising Records, kid."

Alistair tends to smile like that a lot, when he was younger he would find different ways to look more fierce and thought that with a grim looking smile that was enough to make his fangs pop out. That it made him look fierce and intimidating, also it is quite matching for his personality.
