Why you chose this gif|| as while this gif has nothing to do with the design or colors, this shows a special place in yaoke's sensitive heart. the writing shows her aspiration to be an author and illustrator. she wrote down daily events, like you would in a diary or journal. the fluttering butterfly represents yaoke opening her wings, letting her be herself. finding out who she really is. the butterfly seems to struggle to fly, much like yaoke, with her difficult past. this gif also helps with the understanding of the extra, which includes some of yaoke's journal entries.

welcome to the world, yaoke - year one
i awake in a strange a mysterious area. i look around, noticing a figure cuddling me. she whispers, "look! yaoke opened her eyes!" in a motherly tone. i notice another one nearby, with a much deeper voice. he chuckled and smiled kindly. "welcome to the world darling." i look at my body, extremely small compared to the two others.

save yourself - year eleven
my mother looks at me frantically. "their coming! the beasts!" i gasp. the beasts have been destroying kalon territory and killing our population for many years, they are large and lack fur. they hurt us and our population fights those who do, although some don't. all kalons over the age of ten years must help in battle. i sprint up to my father, my mother right beside me. my father is fighting off a large beast. i jump in to defend him. "save yourself!" my father yells. the beast pushed me out of the way with ease. there was a loud noise, the beast holding something between his fur less paws. the noise rings in my ears. i look to where my father was standing. his body lays limp. the beast picks him up and swings his over his shoulder. "hey!" i burst into tears, scratching the beast with all my might, which wasn't a lot. my mother is crying.

i've lost everything - year fourteen
i am very ill this year. mother isn't like she used to be. i cough. i can here her murmuring something. "i'll be back, yaoke." she stutters as she stands up and leaves. i nod, "alright." as she walks away, she says, "i've lost everything. my husband is dead and my only child is ill." she runs into the distance. i don't think she'll be coming back.

my life is in its nutshell - year twenty-two
i've gotten over the tragedies in my life. i'm working on making friends. i'm righting a book called "morning's whisper." and hope to be an author and illustrator. everything is alright. i'm more open and honest then i was as a youngling, i go outside more often, i socialize more often. my life is in its nutshell.

Why you chose this gif|| This design looks very much like watercolor and while I couldn't find a real life version of this .gif I loved how this fite the design and color palllet while also showing a few traits that I feel would fit her. One being that she loves to create watercolor paintings and that her favorite time and place is when she is creating those watercolors and it's raining outside and nature is helping her create masterpieces.

Why you chose this gif|| Delilah loves the calamity and aesthetics that plants have, and because of that, the small apartment in which she lives in seems to be nearly dominated by them. Her earliest memories come from running around her families garden while her mother tended the delicate plants that lived there.
