Rei absolutely loves hiding in dark places. The thrill of not knowing what could be out there makes her extremely excited. It’s also one of the few places she can escape her troubles by reading ghost stories without being disturbed to greatly.
The dark places vary as to where she is. If she’s at her home, she will hide in her almost empty cupboard – it’s the only reason why she owns it. If she’s out of the house, she will go in the shadows of just about anything. One time, she even hid in a dark whole at midnight while camping, which turned out to be a fox’s hideout!
If there isn’t a physical place she can hid in, it will be a mental place she puts herself in. The only way she can access this place is through a long coma-like sleep. She will not do this unless she has put herself in risk through stress.

Mordred's favorite place to be is in the forest. The dark and long shadows of the trees just make him feel at home, his pelt blending into the cool darkness. It's not that Mordred is anti-social. That would be the complete wrong way to describe him, in fact! Many times when he is the woods he brings another Kalon with him. The darkness is the perfect play to play a nice game of hide and seek, and with so many hiding places? Bring it on!
Likes:
Writing- Mordred is an aspiring author. Even though he knows he isn't the best writer, he enjoys sitting down with a nice cup of cocoa or coffee and just writing. He doesn't even write about anything in specific. One moment he'll be writing an epic tale of fire and blood, the next it'll be a dream he had the night prior. He idolizes Edgar Kalon Poe. (He keeps a diary, too, that nerd...)
Dreaming- Dreams are one of his favorite things to write down, be they good dreams or bad dreams. Dreams are the adventure that your mind takes while you rest while books are the adventures that your mind takes while awake.
Going on Walks- When at a loss for inspiration, walks are what best help Mordred get his mind on tract. The cool breeze blows away all of his troubles and makes him feel free while his mind flutters away like a butterfly.
Night- The full moon glistening above, the shadows thick and dark... What is there not to love about the setting of perpetual horror? With his favorite books being horror novels, Mordred adores the nights of new moons when all can lose their way. The idea of what's lurking in the darkness fills his heart with glee.
Dislikes:
Water- When he was a young kit, Mordred fell into a rushing and flooded river. He had nearly died that day and one of his parents had to jump in and save him, risking their own life. Ever since that day, Mordred avoids rivers, lakes... any large bodies of water that could pose potential threats to him.
Spring/ Summer- The warmth... the heat... Just a perfect setting for a love story, which Mordred despises. All the ooey gooey love of romance novels make him want to vomit. He actually just has really bad pollen allergy. But that sounds dumb. So he just denies his love for romance novels.
Being Alone- The one thing Mordred fears above all else is being alone. While, yes, his love for all things dark and dreary make it seem untrue, Mordred craves the love of another Kalon. He tries to surround himself with friends at every possible moment, but he has yet to find that special someone.
Personality: Mordred is a kind soul. He loves to make other Kalon's happy even at the risk of his own happiness. While his writing can often keep him from being too social, he tries to get out whenever he possibly can. Mordred highly dislikes being alone for long periods of time and, if it does happen, he often becomes depressed and hides himself away whilst writing to help him calm his emotions. Mordred often requires a bit of support from his friends when it comes to his writing, for his self esteem often sinks after long periods of writers block.

The soft glow of a lantern, many lanterns, filled the otherwise dark forest.
The trees were so tall, and had so many leaves, they almost completely
blocked the sun here. The small pond rippled as a creature touched the
surface lightly.



The elusive creature, rarely seen because of its dark fur and the fact it
clung to this specific part of the forest, was called by many as The Water
Spirit, though none knew that it had taken part of the name for itself.



Spirit was known simply as Blacklight before, but it was never a name he
paticuarly liked. Spirit was a Kalon - though not many knew this fact
either, as he never let someone see him if he did not wish them to.



This forest was his home, this pond his meeting place, and this world
the place he was alone in.
　He knew they wouldn't come back, but he waited anyway.
