Up to 1000 words in extras;; kyuu is just a confused, lost soul due to a bad case of amnesia. hes broken wondering and wishing for something to bring him back, a curious kind of vaiki hes also a dreamer, and often daydreams of what he could have been before he woke up that one morning to find he knew nothing. he's fiery but also afraid, defensive and locks himself in up to keep himself from getting hurt. kyuu is crafty and observant and waits for a chance where he can prove himself to others who think of him as useless. He's also a bit of a show boat, proud of his tails. He doesnt know his age, or how long he can live too, but he doesnt care and just wants to actually live a life, not the husk hes been thrown into. He only wants to show he can be compassionatte too, that he's strong. strong in the real way.

You walk into a simple little cafe. It is warm and cozy with soft orange walls and wooden furniture. The cafe has music playing from hidden speakers. It is slow, soft music that just adds to the air of warmness. The light clanking of glass against glass fill the air, and same with the soft chatter from the few couples also in the cafe. You stride over to the counter, where a young women stands. What surprises you is when a fluffy creature on the counter moves. You jump, slightly startled. The women chuckles and gently pats the creature's head. Now that you look at it more clearly, you can see it is a vaiki. Yet a different vaiki. Five short tails catch your attention before your gaze is drawn back to the women as she chuckles. You quickly glance up at the menu, searching for you had come for.

"Ah, one roast beef sandwich and a lime and kiwi smoothie please," you say, gazing back at the women as she taps at the screen, placing in your order. She says your total with quick, practiced ease. You dig out your wallet from your pocket, brows scrunching up slightly as you try to hurry and grab out your credit card. You pass it over to her, and she swipes it, smiling happily at you. You nod and smile back as she gives you your card and receipt. You retreat to a table by the window where the sun pools in. You sit down with a sigh and stretch out your legs and arms before leans forward and ruffling your hair. You gaze out the window, watching people and cars pass by. You muse to yourself. A few of the people hold vaikis, all of them pretty plain, unlike the one on the counter. Claws stretching against your leg draw your attention to the wooden floor, where the vaiki sits. It stares at you with wide eyes, it's shorter then normal ears twitching. You carefully lean down to pick the creature up. The vaiki purrs at the attention and your heart melts. You never managed to find that one Vaiki that just stole your heart away. The little creature nibbles at your fingers as you try and tickles it's soft belly. You cradle the vaiki close as if it was a mere child. You chuckle under your breath. The clanking of a plate and cub being set down before you drags your attention up. The woman from the counter looks thoughtful.

"Ya know, they never were that quick to warm up to somebody. They always sat on that counter after I brought them in. It was a rainy storm and the poor thing looked really lost and helpless. It broke my heart. The others didn't mind and enjoyed the little guy's company. Yet they never really moved from that spot during the day. Only moved to pace around, or to go find a place in the back to nap," she says, gazing at the content vaiki in your lap purring away. You gaze down the vaiki. It stares at you before smiling and snuggling against your stomach.

"if you want....You can take them. They never belonged to any of us, and this is the first time I have seem them go to another person. They never do that. I could never figure out why," The woman says before walking off, leaving you alone with your food and the vaiki. You gaze down at the vaiki and it looks back up. You tilt you head slightly, surprised to see so much in the Vaiki's eyes. It's almost like it has lived many life times, watching the world change and grow. The vaiki stretches and yawns,

"Wait! Does he have a name?" You call out after the women. She turns over to look you. She shakes her head and smiles. You blink and look back at the purring vaiki in your lap. You grab your cup and take a sip.

"You remind me of a Kadeth," You whisper, lost in your own world. The vaiki lets out a strange raspy growl. You look back down at the Vaiki. They move out of your lap and sit on the table. They stare out the window. You finish your food in silence, only the chatting of the people fill the silence. You finish your food and stand up. The vaiki jerks their head and stares at you. You move closer and open up your arms. The vaiki eyes seem to light up. It lets out a rumbling coo and quickly stumbles into your arms. You cradle the vaiki and grin.

"Hey Kadeth, ready to go home?" You ask, smiling widely. The vaiki purrs and nuzzles closer and you take that as a yes. You wave good bye to the woman at the counter. "I promise we will visit often!" You say, leaving the cafe with the vaiki.

The vaiki looks out, staring around while you smile. You carefully pet the vaiki's head.

Kadeth looks at you, and they seem to be smiling. It fills your heart with warmth and love. You start walking, cradling the one thing that you hold dear now.

Up to 1000 words in extras;; When you are so old that you can barely remember your age you tend to be a little cranky but they happen to be very cranky. The vaiki, Del, is a pretty cold and merciless. After seeing many of their friends die before them and knowing that they will still be here as young as ever they have pretty much grown very cautious and are a little insecure. Strangely if someone manage to become a friend they tend to get really protective over them. Recently this vaiki thought it was perfectly okay to just crown themselves royalty and be able to control their "citizens" like a king or queen. So now they have gotten a more evil villain personality. Secretly they are a sweet heart to those who can live a long time like them because they knows that they can be with them forever. They can be very creative when they want to explain the thousands of book written by them and painting painted by them. Nearly all of the time they can be sassy and sarcastic. They actually built them self a little castle to watch everyone that it near. Almost like a princess stuck in a castle.

It's been a long time since I've seen you and I just can't wait for you to come over. When you do get here just ignore what people tell you about me, I'm still the same old Del. I manage to build myself a little castle by myself while you were gone. I also wrote a book and made countless paintings. I nearly thought you had died on me for a while and got angry, strangely. A lot has changed since you left. Like some people , unfortunately, had died. There was also a big flood so I let people stay at my castle after they lost their homes. You know I actually feel like a queen and I think you are my personal guard no matter where you are. I know you are probably wondering if I have any friends and I do!
