The amount of significance in an instrument that a person may play could be strong or little to nothing at all. But with Kousei, the piano is the most cherished object that he clings for support while never letting go, in fear of not being able to grasp the understanding of what happiness is without it. Kousei had always wanted to be a pianist when he was a little kid who'd play with his hearts content, being blunt and stubborn had effected people since he was a miserable kid until his entire mindset was focused onto the piano and that's when his entire life began to change. You see, the piano is something that means a whole ton to Kousei, the feeling of touching the delicate keys or tapping the pedals to change the emotion in a music piece...everything in a single piano, a single sound that the piano makes is what belongs inside of Kousei. He is his self yet his heart is the piano that will, that cannot stop beating as it plays melodic music of each emotion he feels within, whether it be anger or sadness or even happiness. Kousei is the piano and the piano is Kousei.

Kousei, being blunt and stubborn, was pretty surprised when Lisian decided they should end up being friends. This friendship had started once Kousei went into the flower shop, playing his electric piano as people gravitated to the lovely sound of classical music and this soon started to become a daily routine since he somehow liked the excitement and smiles on the other's faces especially the small florist. Kousei would hand Lisian the small amount of change he would get from playing in exchange for a flower everyday and that's when Kousei and Lisian became close to a brotherly like bond.

cherished object; Sacha always has a whistle around their neck. To others, it's just a dumb noisemaker, but Sacha appreciates the comfort and versatility it brings. It can be used in case of emergency, to alert somebody of their presence, to call for help, to pull attention to or from Sacha, to halt an argument--the possibilities are endless in Sacha's eyes. They can use it for pleasure--who doesn't like whistling out their own sweet little tune? That's part of their anxious habit, whenever they get too stressed. They can be found darting about, whistling quietly to themselves and fidgeting. More often than not, they end up somewhere really warm (either in a hot bath or curled up with a heat pack). Sacha doesn't bother hiding their tendency to seek out warmth (it's like watching a grey, whistling nerf bullet approach), and will sometimes even burrow into the warmth of the nearest person to get their fix. Most recently, it's been Nikita who has faced the heat-seeking, whistling tall being that Sacha is. Sacha will often crouch to get under other's arms (they're rather tall) but they still hold their whistle in their mouth to mess about with as they calm down. [199/250]
the one allowed extra; In Sacha's case, he managed to find somebody who carries even more items for comfort than they do. Nobody's going to question Sacha's whistle when it's superimposed against Nikita's four watches, dogtags, and necktie. Once the two actually got to know each other, they became steady friends beyond the childish "you're so that others won't judge me". The two coax each other out of their shells--so far, Sacha has improved more quickly and is a self-appointed "wingman" for Nikita. It's a BROTP to the max--purely platonic, full of good jokes, and most importantly, with support and trust [97/100].

She'd gotten it after breaking her back leg - it healed just fine but the collar kept her from itching it like she wanted to.
the one allowed extra; Rhyce has known Rei for most of her childhood. He wasn't good at handling her anxiety - he freaked out every time and was nearly as anxious as her - but hey, at least he tried and is still there for her today if not a few miles farther away.
