"Don't go, it's a mighty long fall-"
When we met the pain stood still; It was us-
Then suddenly it’s where’d you go? The system blew, I knew...
This side of me, I want a little more- But inside it seems I’m just a little boy,
Nothing else!
Don’t go! It’s a mighty long fall when you thought love was the top,
Oh no, it’s a wake up call when your life went into shock-
It seems like gravity keeps pulling us back down; Don’t go, it’s a mighty long fall,
When you know time is up!
When we said these lies for love; It was us.
This side of you, show me a little more- But in time I see you’re just a little scarred,
So down with it, down we go!

I probably won't try out, but I have to say that this viscet is gorgeous; I love how you included the little identification band around his foot (:
Also, if anyone likes, they and
Petra could be friends as they're both parrot based viscets? Just pm me if so.

Name;; Celandine
Full Name;; Celandine Vega Deforét
Name Meaning;; From the name of the flower, derived from the Greek word χελιδων meaning "swallow bird"
Nicknames;; Cel, Vega, Celan
Gender;; Female
Orientation;; Hetero/Sapiosexual
Age;; 15
Birthday;; April 16th, 2000
Zodiac;; ♈ Aries
Place of Birth;; La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve, Québec, Canada
Place of Residence;; Inwood Hill Park, New York, New York
Personality Type;; INTP - The Logician
Languages She Can Understand;; English, a tiny bit of Canadian French, viscet language Personality;;- Shy
Celandine wasn't exposed to social activity as a viscling, and she often gets nervous around other viscets. She was never taught what to do in social gatherings, and living most of her life with only her parents as companions, she never got used to being with strangers. - Curious
Celandine has a naturally curious mind, as all visclings do. However, her eagerness never faded away after all those years. Her parents, though not having given her the luxury of other viscets, enriched her mind and led her to have an inquisitive nature. - Calm
Celandine isn't a very irritable viscet. She can stay calm when something goes wrong, as many things have not gone her way through her path through life. - Idealistic
Celandine looks on the bright side of most things and doesn't get knocked down easily. She believes there's alway a silver lining to every cloud, and even the worst people she'd ever meet have something good about them. - Quiet
Celandine doesn't talk very much and often stays to the sidelines. She doesn't mind when others make her talk, but she will never be the one to initiate a conversation. - Blunt
Celandine isn't the most sensitive viscet, and can often hurt people with her words. She's brutally honest and doesn't always say the most helpful or positive thing, even if it's false. - Pedantic
Celandine could be described as a perfectionist. She pays attention to only small details, instead of the big picture. - Venal
Celandine would do anything for a good reward, especially if it was something she really wanted. She's easily bribed, and can be easily convinced to do something for a decent profit.
History;;It was dark. And warm. A couple strands of light weaved through the darkness, just slightly illuminating the chamber. And then I knew. It was time. The eggshell already had a few cracks in it, making my work easier. I shifted around in the room, a foreign action I’ve never felt before. It was odd, but yet it seemed like I was always meant to do it. I kicked and heard my first sound. A piercing noise tore its way through my eardrum. I shoved and punched, and the noises continued. A squeak flew out of my mouth, crying for help. For those sounds, I’d occasionally hear from outside the hard walls. I cried again. No reply. I punted the shell, and a blinding flash flooded my unseeing eyes. My defenseless body flopped into a nest of grass and twigs. It was cold for a moment before tepid claws gripped onto me. In a couple seconds, I was surrounded by a soft fluff, the beating of my mother’s heart slowly lulling me to sleep. Tout va bien, ma belle, tout va bien. A voice rang in my head, one I’ve heard before. Tout va bien.
The bustling city laid in front of me. I was used to it, as I’ve lived near it my whole life, but every day seemed like a new experience.Today was no different. My mother came to me with a handful of feathers and a rope. “Look at this Cel,” she called to me. I rushed over, as always when my parents presented me with something interesting. She told me she was going to make a necklace with the materials. “Go find more, petit oiseaux. Go down the street and go into the store with the light blue sign. The man there will give you some more feathers.” I nodded and sprinted away, excitement clouding my judgment. I ran and ran, dodging people and dogs, plants and boxes. But then, something caught my eye. It was shiny and reflected light, so I headed towards it. It seemed small enough to hold in my paw and light enough to carry with me so I reached out for it. A sharp stab went through my hand, and my vision temporarily blurred. What happened? Was it that object? A red liquid, blood, gushed out of my hand. Panic slowly took over my body, and my breathing quickened. “Mama!” I wailed, racing back to my alley. My paw was now entirely soaked, and some of the blood dripped down my elbow. I was losing blood quickly, soon I’d be close to death. Something swept me off my feet, and I let out a scream. “Don’t panic!” My father yelled, rushing me to the hospital. Humans crowded around us, wanting to see what happened. I saw flashes of light through my diminishing vision. Soon, the lights were replaced by slower, steadier flashes, and I stopped moving. The world faded to black, and the last thing I heard was, “She’s lucky to be alive,” in English.
“Celandine. Are you awake?” My eyes flickered open. “Mom?” I whispered. “The necklace is done, Cel,” She whispered. I tried pulling myself up, but my paw hurt too much. I collapsed back on the hospital bed. I snapped back to my senses. “Where am I?” I asked. “The hospital, ma chère,” My father said in the background. I looked around, scared and confused. “Why?” My mom looked at my father for permission, and a nod was given. “Your broke through an artery in your paw. You lost a lot of blood, Cel.” My mom whimpered. I tried sitting up again, to no avail. “Just... Go to sleep.” My father chided. I obeyed willingly.
I’m going home. After weeks of being in the ICU, I finally recovered from the wound. The doctors told me my case was unlike they’ve ever seen before, especially from a viscet. I don’t know if I was proud of it when they said that, or frustrated. I never found out what that thing was. I probably never will. I came home with a couple souvenirs too. A metal ring that goes around my ankle for identification, and the feather rope my mother gave me.
It was cold and dreary. Snow dusted the ground like powdered sugar on a cake. And it was calm. Too calm. I peeked my head outside my den to take a quick look around. The scent of cigarettes hung in the air. My parents sent me here after I hurt myself, to a place the humans call Inwood Hill Park. They live back in the alleyway, about a 15-minute walk from here. They said this place was safe, away from the litter the humans throw around. I beg to differ. I've tripped on many small shards of glass the time I lived here, reckless and drunk teenagers tossing their bottles away. They sometimes bring their mini-torches and light paper sticks, whose odour is an irritant to my nose. The cave I live in floods when it rains, and it's hard to get to. I hate it here, but I'd never rather live anywhere else. The area's quite spacious, and I've begun collecting the pieces of glass. They're pretty and reflect light, like that thing I cut myself on. The view of the city's quite nice here, as well as the ocean. It's a common spot for human couples to hang out and sometimes they drop valuable things. Ha, and they wonder why their wedding rings go missing. This is my home, and it's the only place for me.Favourites:Song - Hua Sui Yue - V.K.

Q&A;;Q: Do you like rain?
A: What kind of question is that? My den floods when it rains, so not really. I’ve lost quite a bit of my glass collection to rainwater.
Q: What kind of questions would you hate to answer?
A: Anything related to my relationships or my personal life. I’m fine with simple ones like “what hobbies do you have,” but not any that dig deeper than that.
Q: What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
A: Hospital food. They had this thing they called a “salad” and it was made with plants. Didn’t taste very good, though the sauce they had with it was okay.
Q: Who’s the weirdest viscet you’ve ever met?
A: A red and white one that introduced himself as “Altan.” He kept following me to my den until I stole his sunglasses. Then he stopped and left. I gave the glasses back a few days later. He actually seemed like a pretty nice viscet. A bit weird, and kind of snooty, but he was kind and out-going.
Q: Have you ever been stung by a bee?
A: I live in a forest. Of course, I have. Many times, actually. Not all at the same time, obviously. Or I’d be dead. They stopped bothering me after the 5th time. I got used to them.
Q: What’s your favourite joke?
A: Oh, that’s easy. “Why do hummingbirds hum? Because they don’t remember the words.” I don’t even know how that’s funny to me, it just is.
Q: Is the glass half full or half empty?
A: Um... Empty. I’m feeling kind of thirsty right now.
Q: Which season do you like the most?
A: Fall. It doesn’t rain as much and the leaves turn pretty colours. I sometimes add some of the leaves to my glass collection.
Q: What’s your favourite type of music?
A: The sound of leaves rustling. If that doesn’t count, then instrumental.
Q: Can you draw?
A: I guess... With chalk on asphalt. I’ve never used what you call “paper” before.
Q: Who do you trust most?
A: My parents. They’re the people I know best, so why shouldn’t I trust them?Story Time;;It was a particularly sunny day today. It was also the day after July 1st, and it was a good day to collect glass. I picked up many pieces, having to unload every hour. I found ones with colours I’ve never even seen before, and soon, my den was filled with light. I had just gone out to do another round when I saw a tuft of dark red fur poking out of the bushes. It scared me a bit, but being a bit too curious for my own good, I headed towards it. I took a shard of glass with me, in case if I had to defend myself. A head popped, with an amused smirk and laughing eyes. I jumped back. “Hey,” said the viscet apparently standing before me. “Who are you?” I asked, controlling my quivering voice. “Altan,” he stuck out his paw, “Nice to meet you.” I narrowed my eyes at his gesture. Who did he think he was? I slapped him, my paw catching on the sunglasses he was wearing. Quickly whacking it off his face, I grabbed it. “Hey, give that back!” I shook my head, a shrewd grin on my face. I turned back to my den, the glasses held close to my chest. “Please? I-I’m sorry. I didn’t know you’d react like that.” The smile fell off my face, and I turned back. “I guess I’m sorry too. I thought you were flirting with me.” Altan’s eyes grew wider. “Haha, yeah, I TOTALLY wasn’t flirting... Heh.” I returned his glasses and headed off. “So, I introduced myself, what’s your name?” He asked. “Cel,” I answered, “Celandine.” “That’s a nice name,” he complimented. I cracked a smile. “Thanks,” I replied. “So, where are you from?...”Relationships;;
Oh, her? We didn’t actually meet the day
we encountered each other. She was
sitting in a tree sketching. I wanted
to see what she was doing so I tried
climbing the tree. I lost my footing
and fell, breaking my tailbone.
Fortunately, she heard me and
brought me to the hospital. The
doctor told me off, saying I
shouldn’t be back in the hospital.
They replaced my tag, though kept
it metal. I overheard them mention
her name, but that’s all I know
about her.
I think when I saw her, she was taking
a walk. She was perfect. Her voice
was like that of an angel, she was
beautiful... She was perfect. Too
perfect. I was jealous of her, so I stole
one of her bracelets. They looked
valuable, and I thought I could get a
decent price off of them. I don’t
think she noticed me taking it, but
she noticed it was gone and found
me. For some reason, she forgave
me. I didn’t know why them, but
she explained it to me. She seemed
like a kind-hearted viscet. She told
me her name and said she was
studying music at NYU. I have no
idea what “NYU” was, but her
career path seemed realistic. She’s
nice.

PicAh, yes. Altan. He was stalking me
one day when I was gathering more
glass for my collection. I think he likes
me. He followed me home and
introduced himself like I wanted him
there. I didn’t of course and hit him.
I stole his sunglasses too. He wasn’t
very happy with that, and I got a
needed apology. He’s okay, I guess.
He turned out to be a very interesting
viscet. I’m starting to grow on him.
He’s probably the only viscet I’ve met
that I’m still in contact with. Gallery;;x -By TinyLittleBerry
