Why?

Pink Kink loves wearing her poodle skirt everyday of the week. Everyone asks her, "wow! I love your skirt, where'd you get it?" And her only answer is, "a good friend gave it to me." She isn't lying when she says this, but she isn't telling the whole truth.
When she was younger, around 10 or 11, Pink Kink had a best friend who was diagnosed with cancer. Her Bff absolutely loved the movie grease, and everything about the 50's, so she bought Pink Kink and herself matching poodle skirts; but only 3 weeks afterwards, cancer had won the fight.
Pink Kink wears the skirt to remember her friends smile and the fun times she had with her, and she cries every time she reads the stitched names sown into the underside of the skirts frill: Valery ♥ Quil
She doesn't allow anyone to call her Valery anymore, but seeing her name by Quil's makes her want to cry tears of sadness, but also tears of happiness when she thinks of the fun she had had with her before she died.

I thought this was just super dooper cute hun, and it really fit the character well. Congrats!
