Athena is a very strange vaiki. She's often not in reality, daydreaming or just staring into space. She has a small "recovery world" inside her head, which she retreats to when tired, stressed out, or ect. When she does things, she's very slow but careful, in a way many people call wise. She's very superstitious, hanging charms around her home and making sure she has good karma. She loves socializing, often going out of her way to say hi and/or wish you a good day. However, she's a bit introverted, and sometimes gets exhausted being around people too long. Because of such, she's also very fond of lazing around, with a cup of tea and a good book.

What is their favorite mythology? Why?;;
Athena's favorite mythology has to be Japanese mythology. It's so interesting and creative, with so many gods, spirits, and tales. Tsukuyomi, Susanno and Orochi, Amenoukihashi, she could spend hours ranting about it. Although the whole mythology in general fascinates her, she loves Yōkai, or Japanese monsters, demons, and/or spirits. In fact, she believes in them, blaming them for bad events and hanging up charms to ward them away.

Ursa's favorite mythology is of the Yoruba, Western African kind. She loves the tales and loves learning about how the old gods were. She thought their relationships with each other and those on Earth were always rather interesting. Though the lessons were rough and difficult at times and the consequences were harsh, she was entranced by their need to dabble into the lives of the mortals and has a philosophy that in order for mythology to have survived the test of time then they had to have mattered. Hence why they were always in things they shouldn't have been. She likes using this to think about other mythology in the same way.

    Her favourite mythology would have to fall to Norse Mythology - only one tale has stood out to her. The tale of Skoll and Hati, the two sons of Fenrir.

    One day, the god, Odin, and other gods had no clue what to do - in terms of sleeping or waking, there was no set length, at the beginning of time. So they got two children to be the light, and the dark - Sol, the sun, and Mani, the moon. However, the two could not travel across the skys like Odin and the other gods had hoped, and they were stuck at another roadblock.

    Odin resolved this, however, and gave both a chariot of horses, to take them across and the sky and earth, giving everyone the time of day, when to sleep and when to wake, to go by once per day. But of course, it never worked out as they planned. The Sun and the Moon laughed at the gods, and took their job into their own hands, doing it whenever they felt. Sol was always one for watching the sea waves crash, while Mani sat deep in the forests, the view drawing her near. This costed the gods, and the place upon which they lived, for they never knew the time of day, they could never sleep with the suns bright light, but could never wake with the moon's dark presence.

    The great wolf, Fenrir, had been running amuck, causing chaos everywhere he had laid upon, and at the same time, had a wolf-women of the Jarnvidur birth two wolf pups - Skoll and Hati. The image of their father.
    Fenrir was soon chained, and no one other then Hati and Skoll came to defend their father - no one interfered, watching the young sons attempt to free their father from his destiny. However, the two were captured by the Aesir, and Odin decided to put the two to use, bespelling them.

    Sol and Mani often would dawdle or change their designated course, causing each day to be different, the days and nights not being on time as the sun and moon had been chosen to do.
    So Odin decided to choose the two wolves that had been captured, bespelling them each to a chariot. Skoll was to chase Sol's chariot, and Hati was to chase Mani's, believing that when, and if, they were to capture the two, they would be rewarded.

    The two wolves are not always cursed to the sky, spending time on earth. However, if either the sun or the moon are late, the wolf is lifted to the sky, expected to do their job, and keep the chariots on course and on time.
    They will forever control Sol and Mani, keeping them on time and course. If they were to stop, and day and night were to become strange and mixed, both wolves would be aware of what is to come, Ragnarok. Because they are aware that if this happens, they will be able to catch up to Sol and Mani, capturing and killing them, freeing them from their spell, to which they both still resent.
    And maybe, if Ragnarok were to arrive, they would get free from Odin's grasp, and free their father.

    Starr loves this mythology - for she has always dreamed of this, for it being true, and that the world really could be doomed if it were to spin out of time now. She will wait for that day to arrive, so she can experience the success of the wolves, watching Skoll and Hati catch and swallow the chariots they had been chasing as prey for so long. According to her, as well, she likes to think she is somewhat connected to the mythology, as she much rather prefers Hati's character, which is made to be outgoing but moody, being able to change from cheery to wrath in no time. She likes to think she has a connection, for her pelt reminds herself of the dark night sky, and the flowers being as bright as the moon and stars, of which Hati chases.
