Caleaes aka Cal
MoralCal has a strong moral compass which means he only sees things in black and white, there are no grays. He always tries to do what's right even if that means he gets the short end of the stick. For him it's more important to do the right thing so he can rest easy at night.
CaringHis ability to love and care sets Cal apart from most simas. He has this habit of seeing the good in
all things even if other simas cannot. He is the sima that you will find helping another sima down on their luck or even trying to befriend the loners of the world. He doesn't care were you come form or your past, he will treat you right as long as you do the same for him.
CockyDespite all his positive attributes Cal tends to be a bit cocky. He knows he's a stud and at times likes to strut his stuff and let everyone else know too.
DetachedDue to Cal's caring nature he tends to bite off more than he can chew. Basically he focuses all his time and energy into others and neglects himself. Cal has literally had to detach himself from most simas and instead prefers to focus his love and care onto only those he believes desperately need him. He doesn't like detaching himself but its the only way he can take care of himself and thus better care for others.
AdvocateCal isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in, even if it is dead wrong. He will fight for a cause that he deems worthy up until the bitter end.
DeceitfulAt times Cal can be a bit deceitful but he only uses his deceit when it's for a good cause. Despite his strong moral compass and since of right this sima is an excellent liar. He can think of a lie on the spot and even spout it off like its the truth. Most simas fall right into his lies simply because they believe him incapable of such a devious act.

Kylo RenThe fall leaves clung helplessly to the dark wooded trees as their bold orange, red, and yellow colors stood out against the grey clouded sky. “Looks like rain” Caleaes muttered to himself as he picked up his pace. The brown leather satchel filled with herbs clung to his side as he walked down the old trodden path. The Earth was silent save for the distant echoes of thunder roaring in the distance. The silhouette of his cabin could be seen sitting atop the hill.
Little drops of rain began to fall, dotting Cal’s thick black fur with dark spots. The rain never bothered him but drying his fur was another story entirely. The lion like sima pushed the wooden door of his cabin open and quickly slipped inside before shutting the door behind him. The male hung his satchel across the back of a kitchen chair and made his way to the fireplace mantle. He had been preparing for a day just like this and as a result a pile of firewood and kindling had already been stacked up in the old metal grate. Cal grabbed the pack of matches and struck the first match across the rough gradient. The dry wood and prepared kindling took off with little effort once the flame made contact. While the fire was growing in size Cal made his way back into the tiny kitchen. He filled an old metal teapot up with water and sat it atop the stove. While that was heating up he rummaged through his vials of stored herbs in search of his treasured tea leaves. “Gotcha!” he muttered absently pulling out the container.
The tea pot began to whistle just as a pounding came at the door. Caleaes froze in place his golden yellow eyes locking on the door.
Who could that be? Nobody ever comes out to the secluded wilderness especially on a rainy day. I came out here to be alone not have visitors. Wearily the lion sima made his way to the door opening it up just a crack to peek at the stranger on the other side. By now the rain was pouring down, showing no signs of stopping. Cal could see no visible characteristics of the stranger at his door, he was clad in a dark black armor that covered most of his body. “Can I help you?” Cal asked his voice stern showing no signs of the uneasy feeling bubbling in his stomach. “I need some where to stay until the storm passes.” The other responded his voice cold and mechanical. Every voice in Cal’s mind was screaming for him to turn the stranger away yet his conscience had other ideas. Eventually his conscience won out and Cal invited the mysterious stranger inside.
The dark sima watched as the armor clad sima stumbled inside barely able to stay standing without the support of the door frame. “Here let me help you.” Cal muttered immediately rushing to the stranger’s side as instinct took over. By his grunts of dismay Cal could tell the other didn’t want this help but was in no position to object. Cal helped him to a seat just in front of the fireplace. “Do you want some tea?” he asked but no answer came only silence. Cal sighed to himself before returning to the kitchen to prepare two cups of tea. From the corner of his eye Cal could see the stranger removing his helmet, leaving only the tips of his ears visible from over top the chair back.
Cal took a seat just beside the other, handing him a cup of tea as he did so. Cal sat in silence sipping on his little cup of tea. Occasionally he would glance over at the stranger before returning his gaze to the flickering fire so as not to seem creepy. It wasn’t until he saw the saber, scars, slit red pupils, and wild electric like markings of the sima that he was able to realize his true identity. An instant sense of dread filled the male when he recalled the stories of the sima sitting beside him in silence. This was none other than Kylo Ren, the ruthless warrior whose name sent fear into the hearts of whoever dared speak it. His heart was supposedly as dark as the night itself.
Cal’s heart began to pound in his chest at the mere thought of everything that this sima could possibly do to him.
That’s when Cal noticed the noticed the metal trap clamped firmly on the other’s back paw.
How can he just sit there staring at the fire like nothing ever happened? Does he not feel pain? Maybe I should offer to help? “Do you want me to help get that off?” Cal asked pointing towards the other’s leg. Kylo’s gaze drifted towards his wounded leg but still no answer came.
This guy is infuriating! Why can’t he just talk to me? Taking a deep breath Cal shifted off the chair so he was crouched beside Kylo’s wounded leg. Kylo’s red eyes watched curiously but never did he once object. The only indication that Kylo had felt anything was from a grimace that Cal noticed flash across his face. After the metal trap was removed Cal thought it his duty to clean and bandage the wound.
Once the wound was tended to Cal returned to his seat, sipping quietly on his tea. “Thanks.” Kylo replied quietly his gaze still focused on the dancing fire. Glancing over Cal could tell Kylo had some what relaxed which was all he needed to know.
Perhaps he isn’t as bad as everyone thinks. Perhaps I could even grow fond of his quiet company. Dare I say we could be friends? Maybe my one act of kindness towards him could shine a light into his darkness. Calm down Caleases you’re getting ahead of yourself.
