Lenny's ears drooped as another human pointed and giggled at the strange looking Viscet. She was never accepted by anyone. Her strange markings made a clown out of her. The shelter told everyone to leave, as they were shutting down for the night. The bars of the cage only let a small amount of light in. The cage was cold and the shelter was silent. She was almost sure she would be put down in a few days. She has lost all hope of being adopted a few days ago. She snarled and kicked around in her cage, frustrated. She was a failure. Her family kicked her out, as she was a disgrace to their name. She had no friends. Her life was miserable. She couldn't wait until it was all over. Lenny snarled again and kicked the door with her back legs and it flung out of place and hit the ground. This was it. Her chance to escape this place. She leaped out of her cage and dashed for the door, smashing it open. She raced out into the city, feeling the wind in her fur. She felt hope. She could find a mate now. She could live.
