Name: Cherasi
Gender: Female
Age: 7
Allergies: Nuts
Home: Hill Fire Acres
Owner: Mika Skye
Purpose: She's a sorting cow. Its a sport where you put numbers around a cows neck and have them in a pen that looks like an 8. Then on horseback, you "sort" them. Someone calls a number, for example, 5. You herd through the cows on horseback and get 5 into the other side, then 6, 7, 8, 9, 1, 2, 3, 4.
Sorting Number:2
Personality: She's a mute, though she has found other ways of communicating, such as stomping her hooves. She loves her "job" as a sorting cow, she loves the attention on her when she bolts in the wrong direction, purposefully avoiding going to the other side. She is by no means a "shy" girl, she loves people, and other cows. When she's in her stall and people walk by, she pushes her head against the bars of her stall and stomps her feet until they come to pet her. She can be very bratty and stuck up, often using her beautiful fur and sweet eyes to get her way, and if that doesn't work she throws a fit, bucking and snorting and stomping her hooves until she gets what she wants (often a treat.) She is also insecure, she fears that she will become useless and she'll be abandoned, or worse. She also has a deep rooted fear of dogs after one tried to eat her when she was a calf.
History: As a calf, a young cow, and even as an adult, she bounced from place to place to place, never staying anywhere long. No one had any use for a spoiled, bratty cow. At age 3, One man had tried to use her as a "bucking bull" in a rodeo, but she just sat down and refused to do anything. She was, once again, quickly sold. At age 5, she was bought by a breeder, but upon discovering she refused bulls (rather violently, I might add), the breeder feared for the safety of her prized pulls and quickly sold Cherasi. A year later, Cherasi was in a stall at a meat auction. A woman saw her, and after studying her and discovering her interesting personality and fit body, decided she'd make a good sorting cow. She brought Cherasi to a large farm, and released her out into the field. After a few months of adjusting, she tested her theory, and discovered that Cherasi loved it, and was good at it. To this day, a year later, she's still playing the role of a sorting cow for her owner.
Fears: Abandonment, becoming useless, dogs
Likes: Food, People, cows, Attention, Being in the spotlight, her job
Dislikes: Sitting on the sidelines while other cows are working, rain (it messes up her beautiful fur), being called "just a cow", bulls hitting on her when she's made it clear she's not interested
Favorite Treat: Carrots
Favorite Toy: A squeaky purple carrot
I made a picture of the carrot toy. Originally it was gonna be her chewing on it, but I couldn't get it right and she looked soo derpy..
